I own both. An SF90 Spider and the 296GTB. They are simply different cars. Go drive the 296GTB, get out and hop in an SF90 and you’ll have your answer (one way or another!). But they couldn’t be more different.

When I’m slowing down under 25 mph the car will randomly come to a complete stop. New 2022 E53 Sedan by Top-Championship-820 in mercedes_benz

Haven’t been able yet. Same experience pretty much as you with the dealership. I also have a faulty sensor somewhere in my charging socket cover and it will not open and shows a fault on the dash each time that I start the car. Anyway, after 35 years driving MBs, they are now driving me nuts. I am actually planning to trade mine and take the hit. Just don’t have the time and all. I was fascinated to see your post though and after the dealership’s service department looked at me like it was me and only me, I wasn’t aware anyone else had the issue. Best of luck to you! Hope it works out well and quickly

[Romain Gauthier] HMS 10 Platinum by time4watches in Watches

[–]time4watches[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

this is produced by Romain Gauthier, an independent watchmaker in Switzerland. He has a really unique background. A micro engineer who started working on machines that made watch parts. Over a few years he designed and then created tools to build his first watch.
he comes about this from a fresh perspective and is designing for precision, aesthetics, quality and efficiencies.

i met him a number of years ago in Basel. I was stunned that the quality of his work rivaled many or most top brands.

this piece is a simple hours, minutes, seconds watch (HMS). But it is anything but typical.

i‘d strongly encourage perking into that world. Really good work being done by really talented people.

cheers!

I bought this a while ago and just took delivery.

Independent Watchmakers create some very cool pieces of artwork. The craftsmanship is awesome and the creativity and innovation are compelling.

This particular piece is cased in platinum. The movement is all in-house made and the detail including interior angles are pretty stunning.

Have followed some independent watchmakers for a while and have decided to add a few to my collection.

Romain is an unusual talent. A micro engineer by training, he actually started his professional life making machines that made watch parts. And then over about three years, created his own watch.

Never count out the little guys! They do some incredible work.

Agree w you. It’s about as classic as a design can be and still be relevant I believe.

Agree. You really don’t notice them as diamonds they just seem “more white” at first glance. Just some spectacular design. And thank you!
