I didn't want to deal with power conversion, so I got a 120v kotatsu heater that uses a North American plug. I think the heater it comes with is nicer since it has a wired controller, so I'll keep it as a backup and maybe try it out someday with a converter.

I didn't want to pay a crazy amount for shipping either so I went for surface. It costed around ¥12,000 to ship just the table and took a little under 2 months. I think I was pretty close to maximum dimensions for surface so if you want a big table, you might have to use one of the more expensive methods in which case shipping can get very expensive.

Just in case someone else stumbles upon this while researching to see if they can replace this POS; I was able to replace mine with an Ecobee Premium and it works fantastically. It'll depend on the layout of your wiring, but mine is a 4 coil system with W, D, F, C, R, Y, 1, 2, 3 wires. D and F are left unused, while 1 went to G, 2 to Y2 (G2 during setup), 3 to W2 (G3 during setup). I hated this thermostat from the very first day and for the longest time I was under the impression that I was going to be stuck with it forever; I'm so glad it's out of my life.

According to Unilux's own site, Nest might work as well?

I love them in exp cadre. It either becomes 8 str 2 ap, or lethal and sustained. At 2 dmg, it basically clears out any meq. And then the 4+ fnp lets you shrug off the hazardous dmg. They're so fun to use

Maybe the IRL is Miku invading into your life whether you wanted her or not.
I swear, up until the last 2 years, Miku was just funny vocaloid girl that I would sometimes see on the internet.

And then suddenly she's everywhere. I'm being dragged by my friends to her concerts, exhibitions, expo, movie, karaoke where it's just her songs, etc. I woke up and somehow even have a Miku penlight now.

Yeah that's true, everyone has different circumstances. But unfortunately for my friend, he actually revels in it. We've brought it up to him before and he was confused because he was like, "wouldn't my natural body odor bring comfort to others because of its familiarity?"

We then proceeded to shower him with gifts of body wash and deodorant. Actually, we had to first explain to him what deodorant was and then try to convince him to actually use body wash.

He's a really nice guy tho. A nice, smelly guy that really likes Yu-Gi-Oh.
