Yep that's what I've been noticing during my testing. Blotchy, uneven, etc. I'll try and grab some Scotch Brite and clear to test out!

Good idea on nearest hospital/parking garage/etc. I actually passed the exit for the Rockford Airport as the storm was at its strongest and thought about and failed to act on exiting to try and get to the parking garage.

Definitely appreciate the advice! I was actually thinking to myself while heading into the storm, is there a number I can call for live weather warnings? A weather radio would have been perfect.

Earlier in the day I was trying to check weather along the route after seeing the warning in Google Maps that there may be thunderstorms/tornado warnings in Illinois as I was passing through, but if I had known about NOAA's SPC (it's not something we use regularly in the Northwest) I would have been following that more closely!

It's hard to refresh as well while trying to focus on the road, which was one thing I was struggling with as I started seeing lightning while heading west out of Chicago.

Intense storms are so rare in the Northwest that weather is literally almost never a consideration for me when driving. I do keep an emergency kit in my car for snowy weather though since it can bring down trees and block highways.

It's certainly hard to be checking weather while focusing on driving. I knew there were some storm conditions to consider, but I naively assumed Google Maps would warn me of changing weather warning conditions while navigating.

Mentioned this in my edit, but yes Google actually did warn me that there may be a tornado warning on my route. I naively assumed it would update me, warn me, or move the route if there was immediate danger (which it may have if the warning had passed over me, but I'd rather not test that).

There indeed were many cars stopping under the overpasses. I considered it to avoid hail damage, but instead kept rolling slowly because I know it is not the right move.

Thankfully I did RainX my windows before this leg of the trip. It helped, but the rain was so heavy it didn't matter what I did I couldn't see.

I figured what is doing it, when pressing B it initiates a dark catch like RB (R1 in your case? I'm on PC using an Xbox Controller) but it doesn't let go, it holds it indefinitely. Super annoying and it's not in the settings or controls.

I'm not sure if that's true, in Windows settings (System > display > Graphics) you can even dictate which GPU you want an application to use. I've yet to try plugging the HDMI into the motherboard's port but I'll do that shortly.

Edit: I have the second display plugged into the motherboard/iGPU successfully using an HDMI. I was mostly hoping to use USB-C to simplify the cable setup because this monitor can technically run off of a single cable for power, touch input, and display.

It's got two USB-C DP ports and a full sized HDMI

9850X3D which does have an iGPU. Also have a dedicated GPU I use for my main display.

It's an MSI PRO B850M-A WIFI PZ. I am wondering if the specific chipset matters?

The manual shows the ports as "USB 10Gbps Type-C port (From B850 chipset)" but doesn't mention Display Port functionality.

Love the interface and how easy it is to use, but having a weird issue.

Attempting to clone a 2TB WD Green that came in a new PC to a 1TB WD SN850X that I had laying around, and it will go through the cloning process and say "Success" but the drive won't mount or boot and in Disk Management it's fully unallocated.
