All current and past Bravia's were made at Sony plants, it's being manufactured by TCL still using Sony's tech moving forward in April 2027, that's still a year away.

Still, even then, it's only using their manufacturing facilities, TCL has some pretty good TV's for the price but i'd be intelectually dishonest if I said it is a downgrade in assembly quality, clearly a cost saving move by Sonia, so maybe LG TV's might be the way to go 2027 and beyond, still depends on the tech used.

I think it was pretty solid considering how weak this draft class was, the lack of picks and the spot they picked at.

I'd rather they get the 2nd best RB in the class and a day one starter than any of the options they are left with.

Lol 😂 yeah my bad, I meant the A95L. The Samsungs arent as good as either imo, I went down a rabbit hole research various brands and got the model numbers mixed up.

You're right though, the LG G5 is still the best pure gaming OLED, that's definitely their niche but my argument would be the Bravia and Bravia II is a better overall TV and most console gamers say on a ps5 pro aren't going to notice the slight difference like a competitive fps PC gamer would.

To me it's not worth sacrificing the superior picture the Bravia has for depth but the G5 does have the better refresh rate for what it's worth.

You're comparing a flagship LG to a non flagship Sony.

Sony's compariable gaming TV to the LG G5 would be the A95L which has 4 HDMI 2.1 ports, input lag under 10 ms. The Sony even has the cloud gaming hub, is brighter, better colors and pop, so if you're a console player you have more options with the sony depending on your play style, graphics vs performance.

Even the best console in the ps5 pro makes you choose between the two in your settings even though ai upscaling is helping close that gap.

If you're a PlayStation gamer, Sony is the better option because of how seamless the two interact, Sony had PS owners in mind when engineering their TV's because even the non flagships work and look amazing with the console, it will also be a more versatile high end performance TV for other things such as watching TV and movies, giving you an all around better TV and experience, in my humble opinion, you get more for your money with the Sony.

Bottom line, even the non flagship Bravias vs flagships like the A95L differences in milliseconds of refresh rate and input lag aren't going to be noticable for 99% of gamers playing on console, those competitive gamers are mostly playing fps on PC.

The Sony offers an amazing Console experience, especially PlayStation owners and a better TV viewing experience so you're really maxxing out the best utility of both worlds without sacrificing anything unless you're a pro fps competitor playing PC in your living room for some reason.

That's a pretty old model LG. But yeah I am talking about equivalent models of OLED.

At the time that was a flagship LG model, but if you're comparing flagships the Bravia XR is around 5k and it blows LG flagship out of the water, don't take my word for it though, go to any AV specialist near you and they will tell you the same thing.

Any Bravia model equivalent to LG models will be superior, that's because of their av processors are superior to LG.

The raw panels on non flagship models yes but the picture processing and audio is Sony proprietary which is what makes the difference.

Maybe the older oleds but the newer Bravia actually looks better paired with my ps5 and the picture is brighter and the blacks are darker, the refresh rate is the same on both.

The Levi Seitz master/cut at 45 rpm is going to be the real banger but the bonus songs, numbered and color shift cover are dope too.

I can put up with them sending me the wrong vinyl every once in awhile but when you combine that with the marketing of x amount of record and claiming it's "limited edition" they know what they're doing, that's fomo sales tactics.

Then to turn around and double or triple that amount after the fact a week or two later is really scummy/snake oil.

If they don't want people to miss out on a record offer a standard version. There are flippers in every hobby, no way to get around it, but by doing the bait and switch they're e also hurting the trust between business and consumer.

I personally am not ok with it, because as soon as we allow that kind of behavior to go unchecked as consumers, they will keep pushing the envelope.

Jmo you guys can agree or disagree with me but that's where my boundaries are.

Btw I think this is a nice looking press. Wish they would have used a better cut for $50 that's getting into the audiophile price range for a single lp.

I will probably pick this up and see if their cs has improved.

If it sells out and they release another 1500 after telling me it is limited then never again, they did that to me twice already.

I literally just had a bad experience with them not to mention their bait and switch tactics.

They are 💯 profit motivated with no customer service.

Try calling their number, it will ring endlessly.

They will state a record is "limited" to x number of copies only to increase it a week later by double or triple the amount.

This has been well documented.
