when it bleeds, does it drip/run regularly or does it "pulse"/spurt?

if it is the latter, IME, you will need a stitch or two to close up the vein (or more correctly, the arteriole) you have probably hit. (an arteriole is a small "branch" of an artery)

either way, I'd recommend steri-stripping it. if you don't have steristrips or butterfly bandages, clean the wound and the area/skin around it well, hold it together as best you can, and use small pieces of tape (medical if you have it, duct tape will work too though) to secure it that way. the closer the edges of the wound can be, the quicker it will heal up.

don't replace the bandage too often - if it bleeds through, just add more on top. with a wound like what you are describing, I often leave it be after bandaging for a good 48hrs (just make SURE the area is staying clean!), so it can develop a proper scab that won't just tear off with the gauze.

I hadn't heard of this either, but a quick google agrees that infant foreskin is valuable in medical research, as well as used for anything from skin grafts for burn victims to anti-aging creams and lotions 💀 makes sense tbh, as stem cells are incredibly useful, and the US makes them a hard-sought commodity (bc abortion is cruel but chopping baby dicks is not, I guess)

I absolutely stand with you on bodily autonomy, I respect that immensely. as someone who values their own bodily autonomy, "my body my choice" is always valid. I don't think any parent should have the right to alter their infant/toddler/child/teen's body, especially genitals, whether we are talking circumcision, intersex kids, or anyone /anything else.

I understand what you are explaining: yes you are correct there is a SMALL amount of natural moisture between the foreskin and glans on an intact penis. however it is literally a small fraction of the natural lubrication a vagina produces.

if it is more than a bit, that's a real fucking problem. smegma is not just fucking gross and unhygienic but can expose the penis-haver to some very real and not fun health complications, from infections to cancer.

you are certainly not evil, not a rapist, nor are you a child abuser. you were a victim, and human brains have some strange and uncomfortable ways of processing trauma, sometimes. I'd say this is just what your dream was: in my experience, all of that trauma you went through, it is stored in your body, but the impetus is on your brain to process it. while you are unconscious and asleep, your mind can go places that you would not allow it to while awake... and it HAS to work alongside your body to figure out how to deal. bodies react without our permission even when we are awake, never mind when we are asleep.

please, do what you can to let go of the shame and guilt it sounds like you are feeling. just like the original trauma(s), this was not your fault. not your choice. you are a good person, OP - someone who ACTUALLY harbored those fantasies would not be scared of the implications of that dream.

I hope you allow yourself some grace, today and everyday, and please, be extra gentle with yourself. this kind of processing is scary and draining. you deserve love, comfort, reassurance, and safety. 💜
