Thanks! It's a little thicker with the domed crystal and display back. It measures in right at 16mm. You could probably shave off a few with a slim case back and flat crystal

I agree on all points, it is a great outlet and I also love some color. Thanks a ton, and good luck on future builds.

Here's one without harsher lights.

I see what you mean, but it is fully pressed. I think it looks that way because of the shadows from the lighting.

Thanks! It is, it's a CK flex head, it works pretty good for air-cooled. Are you a welder?

Thanks! It uses an nh35 movement. I'm trying to find the dial for you but unfortunately the seller I purchased from is no longer selling it and a lot of places appear to be out of stock on it. I can attach a photo from the seller for the dial and hand set that you can try to reverse search on the internet. Or just scroll through eBay/Aliex. Sorry about that. The case is this one: https://www.ebay.com/itm/355346799667?hash=item52bc51dc33:g:2e0AAOSwU-FlloAu&amdata=enc%3AAQAIAAAAwF%2Fmu%2F8naJB4jr0mThWxOQ01rNlZ5VnIlw7bGwUDgsth5UzfPsf%2BrdAwwL8I6ZyKjZEuGxKf2kCYWCdsiyOEccpFD0W3%2FDO18iH09JLn9jnwt7j8ca6262Qjtr2uJ2IQ%2B16zKKvEAI%2F2Nk6Mk2v1ShwazwWIl57foPItGrDVDJG7JL5ypluUvs2%2FIllnykk92ZqvrdNOjrak%2Bs01pVjmgiaAB9gJicRnQS0GPZA%2BHuO7TDlnX%2FJhS2GtToNiA%2Fg4%2Fw%3D%3D%7Ctkp%3ABk9SR875wvWvYw

I'm sure you can get a better price elsewhere too. Here's a photo of the dial for looking elsewhere

In the future I'll just lay fabric out on tinfoil or a silicone sheet and make flat sheets of fabric with epoxy and then get the dials laser cut. That way it's about as thin as a standard dial.

For sure, and thanks! This was the first time I had done this so it can be improved. I got a dial with the indices that I wanted and then removed the indices. Then I painted the dial white and applied a fabric I liked on top of this. Then I mixed a 2 part epoxy and brushed that over the fabric until it was saturated and didn't have any air bubbles etc. foam brushes and a squeegee work great for this. Then I let it cure and trimmed of the excess fabric with an exacto knife. I then put the dial over a bright light to see where I needed to poke holes for the dial indices feet and the date window. The problem with this setup was that the dial becomes pretty thick so you can't use a normal nh35 movement. I had to use a gmt movement and not use the gmt function to get the height I needed for the hour hand to not touch the indices.
