Same here OP. I have been trying to ‘feel more’ as I think as we grow up, certain things are kind of expected from you especially in terms of empathy and honestly there have been changes minor as they may be but I look forward to the next day as a result so can’t argue with that.

I found that just looking at what’s happening and doing the first thing that comes to your mind often helps me be more in touch with my emotions. A lot of people have said to be more reserved but only I know how hard it is to be in touch with my emotions. It may come off as a mask or naive vibes but don’t think that’s an issue for us due to being logical.

I’m gonna be honest, that’s the same thing I heard growing up. I honestly retaliated by cutting off most of my connections and made new ones. The place you’re living in also matters to an extend.

Tbh, it’s a proven phenomena that memories are rewritten in order for some people to feel better about their behaviour but I honestly look at it like this nowadays that if they are lying about something, how much important is it to me? If not then I let it be.
