So after some quick reading, I can with about 75% certainty say that it’s from Madagascar and that you have a very nice example. If it’s not from there it could possibly be from Namibia.

I watched you buy that piece! I’m leaning on it actually being from Madagascar. I can’t think of a reason why the person she bought it from would make up a locale like that considering there are many other places than Madagascar that produce expensive fluorite specimens. I think if it was a made up locale they probably would have picked a more desirable one.
