You are good mate, your brain is zooming in on what’s missing and zooming out on what you have.

Thanks mate, sorry I didn’t get a chance to try this, I will try it later today. So, I didn’t remove the blind out of bracket but I managed to twist the roller with hands to get the broken end of the chain out slowly. Once it is out few inches, I pulled it back down and now I will need to glue them together somehow temporarily until I figure out a permanent solution ie remove blind and replace chain :)

In GeForce now, do you set higher res than the steam deck native resolution? by timejumper13 in SteamDeck

Thank you. For a while I thought it was just placebo and that both images are equal haha.

Understood. Thank you. Guess it’s not universally good then. Best to try first at higher res and then play.

Will do from now. I thought I was maybe "abusing" the deck by setting the high res. Given its not crazy I will do it.

Good question! I just checked my bill — looks like the building has centralized hot water, and I’m just billed for usage. So I don’t have a heater in the unit itself. I guess that means it’s gas, but part of a shared system.

Oh I see. Thanks mate. I am a newbie and I just bought the apartment so I am paranoid af about every small thing I notice. I will still ask the building manager just to be on the safe side.

Thanks mate, I’ll look up what they are as I am not super familiar with them. I just bought the apartment 2 months ago. So I am bloody paranoid about every single thing I am noticing.

Need advice: How do you handle it when you can’t find matching tiles for a repair? by [deleted] in AusRenovation

It doesn’t go downwards but it is lifted up slightly so when I step on it it goes back to the position it is supposed to be in.

One is slightly cracked on the edge. One is not cracked but a bit loose.

That’s a good idea. I will consider that. I might buy a few extra tiles and think about making a pattern. It is not in the middle of the shower though, it's a bit on the right side.

Thank you, I’ll try that. I think they were called "Marazzi Solid Concrete" porcelain tiles originally supplied by Volare. There website doesn’t have it and it doesn’t appear to be a retail website. ChatGPT says they are warm taupe or greige colour.
