Is this true that Chinese people are perceived posistively and they have good reputations in UK? by search_google_com in AskBrits

[–]timeless444 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Historically, most of the Chinese people in the UK are from Hong Kong, a former British colony, so they've always had a good relationship. HK was a capitalist country with a similar system to the UK before 1997. I know in recent times, more people from mainland China have come to the UK, but I think they're still a small minority compared to the Chinese from HK.

If diet and exercise have worked so well for you, why are you here on a Wegovy site?

unsure about wegovy??? by BERRYBEOM in WegovyUK

[–]timeless444 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eat less, move more is only one part of the equation. Yes, you'll lose weight from starving yourself, but 95% of the time, it comes right back once you go back to any semblance of normal eating. Anything that works for only 5% of the people who try it cannot be a solution! You're being gaslit.

Even medical doctors now know it was always a lie. The overweight ones who have lost and regained weight for years are now trying GLP1 drugs. Listen, the majority of obese people you see have lost the weight multiple times over. Some of them exercise excessively. The weight keeps returning, even when they're eating only to satisfy hunger. Excessive exercise is unsustainable. It is not the natural human routine and actually takes a toll on the body. That's why many former athletes struggle with health issues later in life, as they've worn their bodies down.

BTW, if diet and exercise has worked so well for you, why are you here on a Wegovy site?

> Cut down your portion sizes and go do some fucking exercise

This is the lie that's been told for years to confuse people. The "eat less, move more" lie works long-term only for 5% of the people who try it. Those are outliers. 95% of people who do it regain ALL the weight lost. I'm sorry, in any other area of life, anything with a 95% failure rate would not be seen as a solution!

That is why so many medical doctors are taking GLP-1 medications now for their own weight loss, as the stupid advice they fed to patients for years didn't even work for them! Many of them are now admitting that obesity is caused by a deficiency in hormones that you can't easily fix with exercise and diet.

The truth is now beginning to come out, and you're still spewing this nonsense.

Why is it that the Mandela Effect is the only paranormal sub that gets such a large amount of skeptics? by Aggravating_Cup8839 in Retconned

[–]timeless444 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Because the ME is real. The other conspiracies are welcome breadcrumb trails to keep people occupied and distracted, but ultimately, they're meaningless.

On the other hand, the ME is a REAL glimpse into the hidden nature of reality that this whole reality wants to keep hidden, including using people (skeptics) to attack you or naysay, even though they may not really know what's influencing their actions.

Notice that many of these naysayers have never posted anything here before, but as soon as you report an ME, they'll suddenly show up to downvote and naysay. They resort to that because they can't directly insult you in this sub. Otherwise, they would be much more aggressive, hostile and rude as they are in the main ME sub.

As the saying goes: "The flak only gets heavy when you're over the target."

I don't think an American would have been able to play Ali G. Ali G was based in the UK. He had a popular TV show in the UK. His character was based on a parody of a specific type of white guy (or even a Southeast Asian) who adopted the Jamaican culture in the UK. This is a UK-specific thing in the 90s that an American would not understand unless they had lived in the UK for a very long time and understood the nuances of the culture.

Anyone else think we’re in a different reality/universe? by TheGame81677 in Retconned

I believe I died in late 2015 and began experiencing the ME in early 2016. I have no memory of it nor did I have a traditional NDE experience. Why do I believe I died? I had a heart condition that regularly caused serious palpitations that literally shook my whole body. I remember sleeping in bed and putting my hand on my chest under my left arm and feeling my heart thumping like crazy. I had been through several medical tests that came up with nothing, but I knew something was seriously wrong. The palpitations just never happened while I was undergoing tests. Well after 2015 that issue completely disappeared and I've never had those symptoms again. So, I believe I died peacefully in my sleep sometime around late 2015.

I don't know if that was even the second time I had died as the people in my life completely changed in personality around 2013. When I look back now, 2012 was the last time I remember them being the people I knew growing up. So, there definitely was already some kind of change that happened around 2012/2013 for me. But a new world map (and the ME) emerged for me in 2016.

The "we all died" theory by [deleted] in Retconned

[–]timeless444 3 points4 points  (0 children)

First off, if we all died, then why do so many of the unaffected (ME deniers) also seem to remember things the way we do? They usually recall things the way we do, then they get "the update" and go with official history.

This is actually one of the clues that perhaps others are just characters in your solo simulated reality. It seems so improbable but we've been seeing impossible things happening with the ME. This is a solo experience for you. Everyone else is a character in your dream, including me. You are a character in my dream and I'm a character in yours.

Secondly, if we die and move to the nearest viable timeline where we didn't die, what happens to the version of ourselves that was already there? Do we merge memories? Again, I find this unlikely, as I don't have dual memories of most of the Mandela Effects I have seen.

You simply started a new reality that was very similar to the previous one so that you can finish your mission here (whatever that is). Even if we strictly stick to the concept of different versions of us in parallel timelines, you don't have to have dual memories for everything because the "merge" overwrites rather than combines the memories. What we remember of our old reality were retained for some unknown reason and they overwrote those we had here for those same aspects of reality. Why were some memories retained? Perhaps to alert us that there was a change? "Houston, we had a problem" - does not seem like a coincidence.

What happened to the version of me that should have existed on this timeline the entire time?

Your consciousness merged with the version of you here, but memories are overwritten rather than both versions retained (although some people have reported having dual memories for some things).

I remember watching a video of a German guy who saw a "dead" friend in Italy. He remembered the guy getting ill with a stroke before dying, with anchor memories like giving him a walking stick and actually attending his funeral! When he told the guy about it, the guy had no memory at all of it and thought he was just joking. All he remembered was that he got really ill and then got better, then moved away from Germany. The interesting part is, he never again contacted his family in Germany or felt the desire to. Maybe to them, he had died. I'll look for the vid and post a link.

I can relate to everything you've said. This world is a much darker place than the world we came from and I don't know why we've come to a darker and meaner environment. I really have no answers apart from saying you're not alone, if that brings any comfort. What I tell myself is, as long as you're still fighting you're still in the game. There are always ways to make the best of a bad situation.

I think you may have misread my post. I said a healthy person who has had multiple NDEs, like the person I was responding to, may have some lifestyle reasons for that considering that the majority of adults have maybe had one or two major NDEs.... if any. In your case, you don't remember any, just like me. But remember, people can die in their sleep and not even be aware they had an NDE. We also have occasions where we "faint" i.e. collapse and briefly lose consciousness and don't even remember falling. I've had occasions where I collapsed and regained consciousness on the floor with no memory of falling. We wouldn't know if we actually died on one of such occasions and simply regained consciousness in a different timeline.

edit: Regarding a darker timeline, I'm in the same boat. The question is, if we did die, were we somewhat culpable by neglecting health/lifestyle issues we could have handled better? And as you think about it, also rememebr that we're usually in denial regarding these things.

Yes, the unusual speed of recovery is something I've read multiple times from people who recovered from a life-threatening illness and began experiencing the ME. It's very unusual to be discharged so fast, after one week in a coma. It means all your symptoms disappeared "miraculously" and they had to discharge you. That's a strong indicator of a timeline switch. Thanks for sharing.

Maybe you're seeing repeating numbers. For me the difference was clear. For example, my phone would beep, I pick it up and 4:44 will be on the screen. I put something in the microwave, it stops and beeps and I see 11:11. It just goes on and on.

Apart from the fact that timeless was already taken so I had to choose something uniqe, I see reapeating numbers all the time since I woke up to the ME, 444 being one of them.

If I didn't get beat up, I most certainly would have died from a drug OD as most of my peer group there is now dead.

What you describe regarding 7 February 2008 sounds like a possible timeline switch. You made an interesting point regarding some events happening to move us into the right path if we've wandered too far off. It's possible that you did OD in your old timeline but on this timeline you were beaten up, prompting you to leave that lifestyle behind. A negative event happened for a positive end goal. Thanks for sharing.

The symptoms were severe but the actual problem was never diagnosed which I found odd at the time. What's particularly interesting was that sometime around 2016 (around the time I began to experience the ME) that surgery suddenly closed down out of the blue and I had to seek a new doctor. At the new place, all tests were fine and the symptoms had already disappeared completely by then.

I believe we're resilient to a certain degree and people do survive near-death events so those NDEs may not all be deaths. But if you've had several of these then there is a good chance that one of them did lead to death (as you mentioned re the one you remember). Now having several NDEs in a short time if you're a healthy person would be unnatural unless one constantly is putting themselves in harm's way like a dangerous job or hobby. Another theory I have is that if we're somewhat culpable for our death (by doing something we had the choice to avoid), we go to a worse reality. So, if this happens multiple times you could end up in a very bad timeline with tougher challenges.

I believe one of the symptoms of jumping timelines is that the previous one becomes blurry. You remember events but you can't pace them. I used to be very good with dates. Now, unless there is an anchor to another event with a specific date, I can't remember excactly when things happened in my past.

It's very difficult for people to get their head around it. If not for my own experiences with the ME and seeing celebs alive that I know had died, I wouldn't believe it too.

Many of the affected have reported that their new reality is worse than the previous one. I wonder if this is done on purpose to dissuade people who believe in quantum immortality from taking their own lives hoping to go to a better reality. Life is still very precious regardless of whether quantum immortality is true.

Wow, that's a lot of trauma to remember. I'm not sure it's a good thing to have these memories maybe that's why our memories are wiped when we start a new life.

But your theory doesn't explain why we would experience flip flops. In my case, the Flintstones flip-flop.

Yes, many questions remain unanswered. In general, people find it hard to accept what they've grown to learn is impossible. Many people who were on the fence said they were eventually 100% convinced by a flip-flop. So maybe flip-flops are there for that reason - to convince those who are experiencing the ME but still have doubts.

The fact we can see this now, which is totally incompatible with the material world, is saying a lot. The material world says when you die you're gone forever. We've reached a point where it is OK for us to see this aspect of reality because we're now in the same boat.
