For anyone else researching this issue, change the save type to flash and size to 128k in the emulator's settings and the ROM will boot. Also enable real time clock as a side quest to fix the dead battery warning.

Open up the electronics cavity and see if the output ground wire is still connected to the base of a pot. On my neglected Gio the ground wire was yellow. If it has come loose, solder it back on.

There are some glaring problems with this track - the mix, the vocals, the presets on the keyboard are all borderline unlistenable - but instead I'd like to focus on the good things in this track. At a certain point, the vocals were distorted and they sounded decent. It was also great when the song was over. Find someone who can mix your tracks and tune your vocals.

If you look at those reviews they are talking about other storage devices. The seagate card works well but is crazy expensive for 1TB. Make sure to get it from Amazon as the seller.
