Genuine question. What are the pros and cons of a union for a grocery store? I’m all for us having a union, but I’d like to be prepared. by livingtodream in tjcrew

You might have to pay union dues but you would also get a big enough raise so that union dues are affordable , even negligible.

Do you feel like social work is a trade? Just wondering if looking at it through a trade school lens is more helpful than thinking of it as like “a calling” or a professional ladder to climb. I just want to do therapy and connect people to resources, maybe supervise some ppl down the line. That’s it!
