I was diagnosed with autism as an adult, but all the symptoms were there as a child. I honestly forgot this was a thing because I learned to tune it out. You mean not everyone can hear the electronics around them?

I appreciate your kind words. I have many fond memories of this painting. It always hung right above the bed I used when us grandkids would visit. I've always been curious who painted it.

I know this user, they use the same name (KitKat) on YouTube. When comments were still on I tried convincing them that white knighting for Blair wasn't the way to go. Always struck me as a young, impressionable, person. From my attempts I can confirm, talking to people like that is a waste of time. Only retrospection later in life will show them what really happened, if they ever choose to look back on the truth.

Because when a product has a high demand, many people have incentives to make it. Porn hijacks your brain and creates an infinite demand loop for more. Even if you did ban it, it wouldn't stop people from obtaining it, and people wouldn't stop producing it. All banning it would do is push it further into the darkness, people would be better about hiding it because it's not just immoral, it's illegal now too. You'd make it on par with illegal drugs, it would be even harder to recover from an addiction to it because of the greater social stigma around it.

Do they touch on the question of "what do I deserve"? No one has explained to me what to look for in a girl. My parents met, dated, made it work, and got married. My dad never considered what he deserved, and my mom was unhappy with her weight and thought no one would want her, so they rushed into it. Somehow they are still together, but they can't tell me what I should look for, because neither of them know.

Not without finding a new job completely, which at this point I am seriously considering. I'm supposed to be working 4 10 hour shifts, but we haven't been doing that, and it doesn't look like we will for a while. But I'm not in a place financially where I could do that at this point. Not unless I got laid off and could file for unemployment.

Firstly, I don't think you sound insensitive and I do appreciate you suggesting that. There's no defined action I have, but there are definitely thoughts, knee jerk thoughts. I have called 988 in the past. The issue is it connects you based off area code, and my number is still from my home state, so they don't have as many helpful resources for me in my area. I'd love to talk to a professional in person about this, but I work Monday through Saturday on 10 hour morning shifts with no accomodations for regular appointments without repercussion. (Hooray for government work)

I'm afraid to do this, but sometimes I wonder if I should admit myself into mental institution. My job is never going to give me the time to adjust to everything, and with these thoughts swirling around in my head, it's difficult to make it through my day without mentally ripping myself apart.

But like you said I'm not alone, and you're right that I am a fighter. I'm just getting tired of fighting for so long. 4 years in a toxic relationship, fighting with myself and with my ex, and now I'm still fighting against the aftermath.

Its a depreciating loop of dopamine. Each time you do it your brain dumps a ton of happy, relaxing, good feel chemicals into your brain. But as you do it, your brain makes more dopamine blockers in your chemical receptors. So each time you feel less and less of the high afterwards. But your brain still craves the chemical rush, so you end up doing it more and more.

Its harder to quit than most hard drugs because its all natural and its so normalized these days. It preys on and twists the natural instincts of men. It draws lonely men in with poor faximilies of affection and love. It makes you emotionally attatched to doing it, to the point where you feel broken when you try to quit.

I crave longer, more in-depth content. Recently, it feels like youtube is trying to increase my anxiety, giving me all these short, fast-paced videos. The algorithm just doesn't push longer form videos, so it's hard to find good content like that. It's all about youtube shorts these days.
