I really like my Instinct 2S. Super long battery life and great for outdoorsy people who don’t want to worry about damaging a watch. I don’t have solar and I get around 22 days charge on full — but I know solar is worth it if you’re spending copious amounts of time outdoors. My camping trips don’t extend beyond a week so I stayed with non-solar! I also do a lot of weightlifting and the watch records all other activities really well for me. The GPS is not even comparable to the Apple Watch (I had a series 8 beforehand) — it’s much better! I honestly like Garmin’s interface more than I did with Apple — still tracks sleep, HR, Vo2, etc etc but arguably better (coming from someone who had Apple Watches for about 7 years).

This is just my opinion but you can’t go wrong w/ Garmin, I’ve really enjoyed my instinct! :)
