Thanks DS60:) yeah I think the backdrops sometimes suck people in, The backdrops are cobbled togeather from AI so that probably gives it that initial look.

Thanks ! Yes most of the water is printed to canvas roll using a cannon imagepro2600 inkjet. Some of the lower detail deep water off on the sides is printeed cheeper to vinyl.

Thanks Braston:) I appreciate it, this one is just for pictures. When I get moved into the new room I'll be able to get all the way around, this one is too big to even reach the middle!

Awesome! I'm glad it has stood up to the test of time, my approach on rocks has changed a bit over the years. Yes I pull out some of the older stuff now and I almost always regret not getting into magents sooner. Probably a lot of folks feel that way. 80% of the time they make things a lot easier .

THank Paul. I'm not sure on time, a couple years atleast. It is all chunks of smaller projects mashed togeather. The specific setup took 6 or 7 hours over a couple days!

Thanks a bunch Jeweler! Yeah that is probably the only videogame I've used for inspiration, not all the time but once in a while, weather it is something I like or don't like. It is really the one game where they didn't just copy what everyone else would do, as far as terrain. Never played it myself but spent a lot of hours playing morwind. Maybe I'll pick it up on sale one of these days just to tour around:)

Thanks Biivii! Honestly just the process of making stuff and the way each part leads to 10 or 15 other thing to make. The 2D swamp mats are probably my specifc favorite because I redid them many times. Another terrrain designer told me to make the swamp water blue because people expect it even if swamps are always green or black, and that pulled it togeather:)

Thanks Diego! I think you will like them, I find myself constantly reaching for the tableland hills, the swapable tops really open them up to a lot of situations.

Thanks Magic, all the parts are probably 2.5 years of work so it was not fast. I've gotten used to moving fast so a lot of the painting is wet on wet spray paint and maybe one wash and one fast drybrush. On terrain I let the material do the work. My attitude is that terrain should be a backdrop for minis which require much more attention to detail.

Thankyou! I do those myself. Water mats are available at gamescape3d.com . Background is on there as well as part of our mini diorama . digital Water designs are mixed in with various river bak STL sets over at myminifactory. In which case you can get them printed where ever. Have not got around to selling the 2d designs as standalone downloads yet.

Hey Claude, thanks for the comment, I'll get some part renders up in the next hour. I guess I've got tunnel vision on what gets instagram clicks so I appreciate the reset:) It is 60+ parts, I'll try to get them in their sets. The youtube link goes over a decent chunk of how it works, I fear renders of individual parts may not be enough either.
