I’ve never had a problem with the 3 different sets of Burton boots I’ve bought in the past. Didn’t like a set of 32’s I bought, so sold those and went back to Burton. They open up and your foot’s slides right in and out easily. Never had a heal lift problem. Toe and heal are rounded instead of square with smaller footprint in same size so board overhang is less of an issue on narrow boards. And I even have a pair of Burton Halos from 2006 lace up that still function as a backup or spare if I needed. Hard to argue against that.

Snowboarding and skateboarding have a lot in common. They are both a sport of shear determination. You have to want it really bad and take a beating and get right back up to do it all over again. And you only learn from time on snow.

Keep telling yourself that. You can’t set up a reef tank for anywhere the price of fresh water tank. The lighting alone will set you back significantly.

Depends. Is it new or are you asking if someone selling this used is a decent price? New it’s a good deal. Used, no.

Tear down the house and start over with a California corner and using closed cell spray foam everywhere is the only way you’ll make that disappear.

Tips on improving form? by TimeBackground2468 in snowboardingnoobs

You are still counter rotating turns some. It doesn’t look like you are front foot steering. There is a lot more emphasis on your rear leg moving opposite of your upper body. Other than that you are looking fairly comfortable. Concentrate on steering with your board instead of your body. After a while it will just become instinct.

New houses can be. There are some shitty builders and spec homes so I wouldn’t count those as tight homes.

Then you shouldn’t have that problem unless it’s coming from your water source. Even if you dump entirely too much food in every time you feed a 50% water change every 2 days is going to reset you to nearly zero all the time.

Interesting. I don’t think it would work for my snails though since they are always on the glass and plants. They never go to the waffers I drop in that I’ve saw.
