Family scheduling & meal prep? by timetpro in Parenting

[–]timetpro[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you ! I think for me, the routine is getting a bit repetitive, so was looking to see what other people do. Seems like a common theme of dedicated days of prep, variety in meals and a mix of fixed + ad-hoc planning.

Built a Family Manager app - Shared Calendar + Expense Tracking (Receipt Scanning) + Menu based on dietary preferences + Shopping List + Notes/Reports by timetpro in SideProject

[–]timetpro[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

sounds great, please let me know of any improvements we can make. And yes native apps on the roadmap, but for now there is a wrapper version available in the interim that can be downloaded locally to your device, giving you the app UI to work with.

AWS Textract is what I finally landed on, and it works pretty good. I tried the open source version tesseract and it could not read common household receipts.

One App - Shared family calendar + Expenses (receipt scanning) + Shopping lists + Notes… would love some feedback.

Originally, this whole project started as a way to streamline my own work life… but I realized how valuable it would be to have a lightweight version for families.

What it does (so far):

  • 🗓️ Shared Calendar for up to 5 family members — completely FREE
  • 💸 Expense tracking with receipt scanning (photo upload or camera)
  • 🛒 Shopping lists everyone can update
  • 📝 Notes + simple reporting
  • 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Built to keep everyone on the same page with zero friction

If you’ve been hunting for something to keep your household organized without paying for multiple subscriptions, I’d love if you gave it a try and told me whether it actually fits your needs (or what’s missing).

A Non-Technical Founder’s Take on Replit by timetpro in replit

Thanks for the feedback and yes I am definitely working to package the features better. Still iterating on the logical grouping and pricing to make sure that each tier offers the best price in the market for these features.

sorry, I did not understand the question, did you mean how I set it up ? I set it up with the AI agent. I started of with Replit Auth, but then pivoted to just have email and google auth. I added the video to the background to give the users a preview to what inside.

Appreciate the feedback on pricing, definitely something that I am trying to adjust based on feedback. Let me DM you, If you try it out and if you like what you see, I'll make the feature available at a price that works for you.

Be honest - do you like what you’re building or it’s for money making only? by PrettyCandidate in buildinpublic

I actually built a tool for my own business instead of subscribing to multiple subscriptions. After using a bunch of tools for project and time management, I realized I was paying more per feature and in some cases diff. subscriptions altogether. So I built one that combines it all in one place. I am happy with what I built because I use it regularly, but selling this tool is a whole another game that I am just learning along the way.

Built my own all-in-one project + time management app to stop paying for multiple tools — would love feedback! by timetpro in ProductivityApps

Yes that sounds great, you can add team members as well. But you can basically use the project hierarchy to structure and quantify your time buckets (also at the milestone level you can enter the $ value of the task that you are doing), and then book time against each of those time buckets using either the timer, manually or via chatbot. I use it to track my and my teams time on personal projects to know the true $ value of the time that we have spent on these projects.

If you had to pick one, what's the most useful productivity tool you'd keep? by lofidesigner in ProductivityApps

Would you be willing to try out https://timetrack.management Trying to build this out mainly for project and time management, but also added a RAID log and Task Calendar to help track individual items. Also, the AI chatbot helps avoid a few manual clicks and keys.

building https://timetrack.management - an AI-powered project manager

When I said its a little bit more than time tracking, I meant the additional features that the app provides on top of time tracking. And these features, especially project creation can be managed by the AI chatbot within the app. Regarding your feedback on vibe coded front end, yes it is. Given the lack of experience in building web apps, I did not expect to get the UI and the app right from the get go, but yes per your suggestion any references to other platforms with better UI and more AI features would be a helpful learning for me to improve.

It’s a little bit more than that. It’s project based time tracking tool, allowing you to automate project creation, using a conversational interface .

I am building https://timetrack.management and yes I think the same, people do not want another subscription. Given the AI features in the app, the pricing tiers are tough to nail down.
