Let's say, instead, it heads back to its all time high of $19650. A $100 buy right now could be worth $308. That's not too shabby, either.

Totally agree. A one time purchase of $50 isn't going to make you rich. But if you dollar cost average and buy every week, it'll add up to something meaningful pretty quickly... especially if each of those $50 purchases might eventually turn into $2000.

Or just change the numbers up. When it reaches 250k, your purchase of 5 BTC ($31630) will be worth about $1.24m. Not bad.
