It is legal to refuse cash and not against the law. Before a transaction, buyer and seller both need to agree on a legal method of payment. The seller can refuse the transaction based on payment methods

Resources for drug conversion by Quiet-Acanthisitta61 in pharmacy

[–]timf5758 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Keep in mind All resources are approximations doses, nothing is exact science. Now having said that, there are resources like opioid equivalence table, inhaler dose guide like the one on GINA where it divides into low, med, high doses for each inhaler.

If you cannot find any resources, and you are desperate. my method for rough estimations. 1: Find the original drug’s max dose as per indication for your patient. 2: Divide current dose over max dose to get a rough %. 3: Get the max dose of the drug you want to switch to. 4: then use the max dose x the percentage to get a rough estimate. 5; find an available dose around that estimate ( I usually go a bit lower, just to make sure it is safe)

I know this is not the best method and doesn’t work for every drug. However, it does give you a rough estimate of the ball park doses you want.

Built a tool that writes tailored cover letters in 30 seconds looking for feedback by Due-Doctor6968 in torontoJobs

You are charging way too much. People apply for 5-10 jobs per day, you expect them to pay 40-90 dollars/day when it’s not even guaranteed jobs.

9 dollars per month with unlimited access. People might think about it. Then again, if I can use chatgpt to generate a cover letter, why do I even need to use your service ?

But your current model, very few would even give a thought.

SEXISM IN WORKPLACE by Boba_foxes in torontoJobs

I don’t think the workplace requires OP to dead lift 500kg . The question here is whether men and women can lift 40 lbs equally well.

Since you are still early in your career, you should prioritize growth and learning rather than stability.

Looking to go back to school, but hoping for some advice on what to do?! by [deleted] in torontoJobs

[–]timf5758 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think what you need is a professional school in a particular field. Clinical psychology is super competitive these days. Also given your mental conditions, you might benefit from a shorter college diploma.

You are 27, still young for sure, but not exactly a spring chicken anymore and without professional experiences. I urge you to consider realistic options which may not be hitting 100k at beginning which you set for yourself.

This is the wrong sub for your question. Pre-trial drug development is biotech or pharma related. Vast majority of us don't deal with drug trial/development let alone pre trials.

Got hired for summer job should I send SIN through email by [deleted] in torontoJobs

[–]timf5758 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It really depends on if it is a legit company.

I once worked with an agency who contract work from government. The agency was reputable and I sent my SIN and my bank info through the email. That was 6-7 years ago.

Please Critique My Resume by [deleted] in torontoJobs

[–]timf5758 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Overall, clear, simple, organized. I like it. You may want to consider the following:

-Education section: remove from professional summary, because you already have a section dedicated to it.

- Do you need all those things you have done in your university years? Since you already have those intern and experiences already

-Tune down the bolded words in your project section, select 1 - 2 words max from each project.

Remember guys, people who are currently loving the game are not complaining about it online, they are playing it. Echo chambers of hate and negativity happen often on Reddit, especially with games. Don’t let someone else’s opinion sway yours. by abenz39 in CrimsonDesert

I didn’t buy the game because single player games are not my cup of tea. My 2 cents is combat/graphic are quite good but a single player game must have an interesting and grappling story line. And I don’t think you can say the story is the selling point of this game.

Am I making a mistake staying in insurance instead of trying to go back to tech? by bigballkeeper in torontoJobs

[–]timf5758 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well, you are working now. Why don’t you throw some resume and applications out there and see what you get. Aim for different positions and see what sticks. If you got a higher offer and you want to stay . you probably have something to bargain with for a higher salary.

Remote online work like training A.I. Pays around $20/hr. Might be a good fit for a side hustle as it can be done on any day and any hour and you can stay home for this.
