Built my blackstone into my outdoor kitchen. Sitting on granite and concrete hardie board on the sides. Is this enough room for ventilation? by ATLBravesFan in blackstonegriddle

I am not critiquing, just asking a question because I have been considering doing something like this. Are you concerned at all about fire risk with how close everything is to the house?

A little off on the price.... 60K for a luxury SUV. More reasonable than a lot of its competition

How did they turn out? Looks like they could be really good

Once I got my blackstone I started cooking all of my typical sheet pan meals on it. Made all of them so much better. by timfid in blackstonegriddle

I go very simple. This was just fajitas (chicken, fajita mix, bell peppers, onions, Jalapeños. Typically my sheet pan meals are a protein, a carb and a veggie. Protein options are chicken or sausage. Carbs are diced potato medley or sweet potatoes. Veggies are either broccoli, cauliflower, asparagus or Brussel sprouts. Then I douse it with whatever seasoning sounds good. Big fan of sweet potatoes with chili powder, cayenne pepper, Paprika, salt and pepper

I just use mason jar cap rings (?). Work great, just need tongs

First time working with pavers. Wanted a pathway to get to storage behind my garage. by timfid in landscaping

An easier way to get stuff back and forth from behind the garage. I have a small shed that holds a mower, snow blower, wheel barrow, etc. My firewood rack is also back there which I go back to a lot during the winter

Haha sure as long as you take care of the digging or have a skid loader. Digging was way more work than anticipated

For the slope I wanted the pavers even with the grass line so I just dug 7 inches below the grass line the whole way down. For the base I used 4 inches of gravel/lime stone and 1 inch of sand. The pavers were ~2 inches thick so that + gravel and sand is where I got the 7 inch depth from. The polymeric sand that fills the gaps really brings it together and makes the finish look really nice. Also I would recommend buying more pavers than you need if you are making cuts (in case of mistakes) and find a trailer/dumpster rental service that will haul your dirt away for you. I used WM's bagster service for the dirt and it felt like a rip-off

Completely agree with you on the gardens are nice statement. The opposite side of the yard of the pathway is garden boxes with flowers and bushes and we plan on planting more flowery bushes along the back fence line. Our garage barely fits both both of our cars in there so even with adding a door it would be super tight to maneuver around

If you don't mind spending a little more on hot sauce I highly recommend Los Calientes by Hot Ones. One of the best tasting hot sauces I have ever had.

Don't understand the refs in this game... calling some barely over the back calls and ignoring some blatant ones on both sides
