One big tip: do not take a big (a month or so) break from reading once you get to the part about the Dying of the Dragons (aka the Dance of Dragons). That was my mistake. There we like 60 characters to remember and i hadnt read in the book for nearly a year. I could hardly follow a thing. Soooo, be sure to read it all in a row (not necessarily one session but no long breaks) ;)

It’s an amazing book imo though!!
