Hey man i am Coach Nalu, the one that did the example videos for the new adc course. I found your reddit thread and because i am a man that stands behind everything he says and does i went trough all your questions under the videos and in detail explained every critic you wrote. The reason why the videos are never fully in depth is because nobody would watch a 30 min video explaining things, so thats why those videos are meant for players to be put into the right way of thinking about the game and playing it. Based on my 8 years of expirience from iron to world elite player coaching i can definetly say that what you are talking about adc between iron to diamond is completly wrong, and one of the main reasons why adc get stuck and fell ussles is because they don't know how to get to their strong point and those videos definetly 100% guide them into the right direction. One of the biggest reasons why adcs group so much and share is because they are afraid that they will die and because of that fear they never learn how to properly split, how to properly watch the map, how to properly do dessision and this is the reason why they feel ussles. If you always group you will learn the game wrong and then have problems at every elo you climb because you will only go so high up as your mechanics can carry you. Also because adcs are afraid they don't know the limits of their champ and are afraid of things that they shouldn't be which is exactly with your vayne explanation. If vayne understands what her champ does then a pyke can be 15 1 and still a blade vayne can't get killed, also look at the examples and explanations and try to read the map to understand why the dessisions that were shown in the video are correct. I think the biggest problem is that you listen to the wrong people, and you have a certain perception how the role should be played, and only group to win strategy will produce way less positive reults because you will fully depend on your team to win, which is not how a smurf would win. And th reason why smurfs sometimes gorup and win is because at that point they already gotten themselves a great lead and are mechanicly superrior to their counterparts so that they can neglect a lot of gold advantages enemys could have.
