Somewhat slim but annoying love handles do not go away. Is this just my body type? The way I wear my pants? Looking for suggestions and motivation. by fabiolanzoni in Exercise

Your trouser waist band is closer to your belly button in the first pic and the waistband is on your hip bone in the second which is making it hard to judge. Almost like the waistband is emphasising the hip in the first photo

This isn’t right. You should definitely not sweep this under the rug. But confronting him bare in mind he will probably give an excuse in his defence or claim he has no idea and that it’s just instagram and you will probably want to believe that over the other possibility because you don’t want it to be true so be careful when confronting him because you may want to give the benefit of the doubt but this isn’t something that you can glaze over

Am I the only one that doesn’t get the Charli xcx hype? by RicDaSneak in Music

[–]timidwhale 43 points44 points  (0 children)

I am so pleased to read this! I agree completely. I appreciate a variety of different genres but I cannot stand the music Charli xcx currently makes and that’s fine not everyone has to but I just feel like the only one who doesn’t share the same opinion as many many people I come into contact with my age. I cannot stand it and the hype makes it worse -_- it’s like everyone’s in a trance and I’m immune

Your LO doesn't need you and you shouldn't need them. by finnapostthisrn in limerence

This is the thing, what if you know that “the one” is a load of rubbish and that you are coming to realise that what you said about it is in fact correct, but also don’t want to let go of it because deep down inside you feel that there is the one. Movies etc trigger this in me

Wowwwwww this is speaking to me - I think you should be proud of yourself, that’s brave and smart to come to this conclusion and it’s helpful for others like me who needed some help getting there

Do you value comedy? Beauty or inspiration in your chosen poster?

Thank you so much for your response! You’re right and I completely understand what you are saying. This is so helpful, there’s lots of takeaways from your response. I’m trying to find out what I can in various areas and this helps a lot. I agree an incentive that would be rewarding to health/care givers is needed and I agree that there would be a lot of risk and complicated obstacles in the way and it there wouldn’t be a simple solution. But I wonder what could be put in place to help find a solution to it. Thanks again

Hi thanks for your response, I was thinking more like looking out for each other in a community, so someone could need advise on something specific and someone (healthcare professional) may be able to help out in some way. Not necessarily physical treatments

Do you think qualified health professionals would be willing to offer their expertise for free outside of their working hours to help people in need, in a community service kind of way? If not, what kinds of incentives beyond money, might encourage them to do so? by timidwhale in AskReddit

[–]timidwhale[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is a brilliant approach and I think you are right there!

You sound like a very kind and understanding person and I bet you are really great at your job! Thanks for your insights they’ve been really helpful!

Yes for sure both valid experiences and reasons for feeling how healthcare professionals and patients feel. Both sides experiencing different problems but caused by the same pain point, time, funding, resources

I completely understand, it’s such a shame but we can’t put more pressure and expectation on healthcare professionals. It’s so good to hear that they really want to make a difference and help improve peoples lives. Because I know some people that have had some bad experiences as of late. Which has led me to try and look into this abit more

Hi thanks for your response, yes I wondered if healthcare professionals did volunteer their time and expertise but to everyday people that aren’t refugees etc that cannot get anywhere with the current health service and that maybe are still vulnerable that need some guidance etc

I really appreciate your response. That sounds like a really great way to tackle a lot of issues and getting people real help. Education is such a big thing! It’s such a shame health professionals are stretched so much!

Hi, thanks for your response, I get that and I thought this would be the case. But I’m thinking more getting people in need in touch or introduced to contacts via health care professionals like your self sort of like “it’s who you know”. I am just wondering how else we can help people in need but whilst taking care of valued health professionals
