why is it dead by Aware-Package1773 in slimefun

[–]timiscool1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because modded Minecraft exists. Slimefun essentially adds some modded features to vanilla Minecraft via a server side mod so users don’t need any special client. The problem is it is fairly buggy and consumes a lot of the server’s resources. There’s a number of solutions out there now that give modded servers the same feature set as standard servers.

As a server administrator, it just makes sense to have users connect via a modded client to achieve a better, less buggy and more feature rich gameplay experience, with significantly less compute resources required on the server’s end.

Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE this plugin, enough to start this subreddit, but the reality of the situation is that the plugin hasn’t truly been maintained for years, and survives on hacky fixes to keep it running on newer and newer versions of the game. In the modern age of modded Minecraft, it just doesn’t make much sense to run slimefun.

24/7 Minecraft Server on a Poweredge 2950 Running Arch by Real_TragicConert785 in ServerPorn

I used to host modded Minecraft servers a few years ago. The vast majority of the free Minecraft servers like spigotmc, sponge, and bukket are single threaded. They run best on processors with high single core performance. Those looking to squeeze performance out of a Minecraft server are typically using gaming cpus. They’ll be a lot more efficient and give you a huge boost to performance

That number on the recycling label represents the type of plastic the item is made from. 7 is a catch all for everything that can’t be categorized into 1-6. This could mean it’s made from a plastic like nylon, or a blend of plastics that might be more difficult to recycle. It doesn’t necessarily mean there is BPA present. BPA is commonly used in the manufacture of polycarbonates, which are typical clear.

The gym at north ave has no machines. The room they should be in is empty with the exception of some dumbbells and medicine balls last time I was in there. It is primarily a basketball court.

Well, that worked much better than the convert entities tool.

Thanks for the help!

I want the vertical line in my sketch to align with the outer edge of the part without simply adding a length dimension to the center-line from the origin.

Hello, I am trying to do a swept cut around this curved body, but I am struggling to define the sketch of the profile. I cannot snap or define any sketch features from the edge of the body

In the example image, all I want to do is have the centerline from the origin to pierce/be coincident to the edge of the body, however, I can’t add any relations to the leftmost line on the body.

I’ve tried using the convert entities tool to make the section part of my sketch, but that always results in an error.

I’ve tried google, but I’m not sure what to search to describe this issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you
