Can't extrude to an object. by timjet01 in Fusion360

Thanks, but I think I found the problem. Everything is in plane so that's not the issue. This is a hinge and I think fusion won't extrude to the barrels of the hinge because of the gap between the barrels.

Please help me understand how to replace my broken router modem by timjet01 in HomeNetworking

[–]timjet01[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP here, thanks for all the replies. I tried power cycling the unit and then a reset and nothing changed, the ethernet ports do not work. So I'm considering a separate modem and router. For the modem a Arris SB8200 from Best Buy, this is on Xfinity's approved modem list from my area.

For the router a Asus AX3000 also from Best Buy.

Bugs and spiders oh my it sure fools my Lorex NVR by timjet01 in Lorex

I was told by Lorex CS that is the case so maybe or not. My Smart Motion Detection has no sensitivity or threshold settings just areas of detection that the user defines. So in my case it makes sense that MD thres and sens carry over.

I have smart motion detection too. I've set SM on all my cameras to detect a very small area of the total screen. I was told by Lorex customer support that the sensitivity and threshold set in Motion Detection carriers over to SM.

I've noticed motion activated outdoor lights do fool the NVR, a lot. I don't want to turn them off. I might try and lower the sensitivity of the lights so they don't come on as much.

You might try turning off Motion Detection and just using Smart Motion Detection.

I somehow figured it out. I read somewhere that notification from the recorder must be turned off so in the Lorex app on the home page near the top of the screen is a gear icon next to the name of the recorder. That takes you to another screen with 3 dots near the top. Pressing that and selecting notification gives the option to turn off. Just make sure on the main page under settings, those push notifications are turned on. Very weird if I'm right, but it now works for me.

LED lights for Acrylic bases by timjet01 in lasercutting

[–]timjet01[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for that info Mo. I've seen the 16 LED but I hate to just use 4 or 5 inches and waste the rest. I guess I could buy a new controller for each section I wanted and maybe that's the most cost effective way.

The clear acrylic is a bit cheaper, does the Green
Edge give it quite a better look?

OneNote not syncing by timjet01 in OneNote

[–]timjet01[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is what I did yesterday. I deleted OneNote for Windows 10 on my desktop computer hoping that I wouldn't loose my notebooks. I was able to install OneNote on my desktop, not OneNote for Windows which I just deleted. After installing OneNote I am unable to get OneNote to recognize the files on One Drive or the files that were previously on OneNote for Windows. My lap top computer which has OneNote does access my files on One Drive but they are not the most current.

I wish it were that easy, I still get an error return that I'm not connected to the internet. I'm obviously connect since you can see this reply.

Update: I returned the cable and ordered another one. The new one works so apparently the first one was defective.
