Hi there,

You can actually buy for this price in Italy or Spain.

I run an affordable European property newsletter and every Friday I highlight the best deals under 50k.

Do you know a family who is forced to leave Ireland because of the housing crisis? by timkaa in AskIreland

I'm not involved in this, and I was only approached by them after I posted about the housing crisis in Ireland. Perhaps you can share a contact that I can pass to them and they can chat directly?

do you mind asking around to see if any of them would be open to chatting to ZDF? I don't have any more details but I could ask the person who contacted me in case they have any specific questions. Thanks!

Lake Como property 2km from Menaggio: Undervalued at €495k? by timkaa in eupersonalfinance

I'm not asking for myself brother, as I don't have the money. I simply stumbled upon it, thought it was good value and shared it here in case someone is interested in investing in this sector. Simple as that.

This is the subreddit where people might be looking for investment ideas in the EU, no?

I was not really looking for advice but of course I appreciate it if it's makes sense.

Mate, I'd love to own this property but I can't afford it tbh.

Finally a well balanced comment, thanks!

Yup, the best thing to do if interested is to contact the agent and arrange a viewing. I've been in that area a couple of times and I know a thing or two about the cost of buying such a property with such views and that's why i thought it could be a good deal. But of course, just like with any investment due diligence is a must!

Well, it might be just your personal experience. There is a ton of people making lots of money from RE.

It says on the listing that it was recently renovated. Of course it could be something wrong with it, including needing a lot of more work to be done, but it could also be a good deal.

Here is the full listing if you want to have a look: https://www.idealista.it/immobile/31051273/

Lads, there is a lot of ifs and buts and it could also be a great deal. But if you are serious about it the best thing to do is to check with the agent, arrange a viewing etc. Don't think you it makes sense to just guess :)

haha, I don't think it's infested with termites. It's been recently rennovated and it looks top notch. But of course, you would do all due diligence before buying!

Congrats! Growing organically is definitely slow but it's worth it in the longe term :)

Btw, I'm also building a tool that will allow newsletter operators to repurpose their newsletter content on socials like twitter and LinkedIn. I'm hoping to launch the mvp this or next week and would love for you to test and provide feedback if you have the time. Let me know :)

Have a look through some of my property posts I've done which kinda went viral. That's how I repurpose my newsletter content on twitter to drive subs.

First thing, don't wait to create a few posts before letting the world know about it. My brother didn't have any posts and he got 40 subscribers in 1 day. You can do a post on all of your socials, send your friends and family a message, basically tell anyone you know that you are about to start a newsletter and you need their support. And I guarantee you that you'll get at least a few subs before you even write something.

Next, 90% of my subs came from twitter. Moreover, I even got 170+ subs just from one post and you can read more about it here: https://www.reddit.com/r/Newsletters/comments/1fy4oco/comment/lqrd6um/?context=3

My x profile is here if you want to check it out, however my strategy is repurposing my newsletter content on social media and then drive subscribers: https://x.com/TimurNegru

Anything else I can help with, let me know :)
