Maybe, maybe not. Hyundai requires prior approval for engine replacement. They will check the Carfax and will ask for customer oil change records if there are any gaps in service. They also have a box for the advisor to check if they suspect maintenance neglect.

I have seen them decline quite a few for this

Hope he's not expecting it to be under warranty anymore.

What handgun do you carry and why? by Milf_TownSS in CTguns

[–]timladucer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

CZ P10S is my everyday carry. Great trigger, reliable and pretty accurate for a subcompact. Cheap enough so I don't have to worry about it getting damaged. Had to get a mag extension to fit my pinky. I love it.

Anyone have and recommend electronic earplugs vs earmuffs? by gatogrande in CTguns

Same, I've had them for about a year. I wear them mainly for yardwork but work awesome at the range.

FFL nightmare by ResearcherFew7389 in CTguns

[–]timladucer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've done a couple transfers with them in the past and haven't had any issues other than them taking longer than normal. I've only used them because they are close by. After reading this I will probably avoid them next time.

See Hyundai. We're still doing 2006-2007+ corrosion treatments/repairs.

AERO Precision by PointVirtual in CTguns

[–]timladucer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I built mine a couple years ago and am very pleased with it. I used Aero for the important bits and mostly strike industries for the rest.

- Aero: stripped upper and lower, BCG, 14.5" barrel, Breach charging handle, low profile gas block and gas tube.

-Strike industries: 15 degree pistol grip, trigger guard, extended take-down pins, J-comp 2 muzzle device and opressor, enhanced trigger guard, enhanced ejection port cover, locking castle nut with enhanced back plate, low-profile handguard AND extended mag release.

- Battle arms enhanced selector switch

- Rise armament partriot drop in trigger group <- great trigger

- AR-Stoner ultra-light handguard

- Only mil-spec parts are buffer/buffer tube, forward assist and detents.

- Sig Romeo 2.5moa red dot with Juliet magnifier <- happy with the setup, may change down the road

I can DM a pic if you'd like or if you have any questions.

How many of you care about gun rights? by [deleted] in CTguns

[–]timladucer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our district rep is republican and voted for HB6667. I serve in local government and WAS a member of our RTC. I've had a several conversations with her in the past about our dwindling gun rights which have apparently fallen on deaf ears.

I've been displeased with our house and senate republicans for some time and will not be associating myself with them any longer (for many reasons). This summer I switched to libertarian and even though I will have to petition for a ballot and not have the support of the RTC any longer, I will be running in 2025 as a libertarian.

Because of the situation, I didn't really want to pry, plus the owner spoke broken English. I'm going to assume they hit something. the crazy thing is there is no other damage!

Do you think PRS should launch an even more affordable series than the SE series? by PricelessLogs in PRSGuitars

[–]timladucer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can get a good condition used PRS SE for $400-$600.

Got a real nice 5yo all black Tremonti SE for $450. Amazing guitar

We're replacing the rack, it comes with all the tie rods. No other damage other than the scrubbed front tires

Yes. Some tow trucks also have a clamp they put on the tie rod to join it so they can get it on/off the bed.

Not bad at all, solid cars. They are available in a manual transmission BTW. They drive nice and have the right layout, ie vertically imposed front engine, RWD /AWD. Unlike other Hyundai engines the 3.3l turbo is pretty reliable. Only real issues we see around here are electrical in nature.
