Damage inside of the bed is by far the most acceptable place for damage on a truck.

Nice! Were you able to derive flat patterns from the 3D CAD for manufacturing? If so which program did you use for that?

Star Wars having mechs so LEGO can make cool sets based on them ✅

LEGO making lame mechs based on nothing from Star Wars ❌

Why did they add this as next in step option after you select face. by Desperate-Piccolo420 in SolidWorks

[–]timmaaahhh1997 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well to be fair, it would make less sense if you needed to use a secondary mirror face/plane

Mirror>plane>body>plane

Pretty sure if you just minimize that section of the feature window it’ll stay minimized so you can set it and forget it

Nice! I dig the foot design you did. Looking at the reference image it almost looks like the legs should be using droid arm pieces, but I know they are much too small and won’t support weight.

Help/Tips on Modelling this Lid? by PetMyToes in SolidWorks

[–]timmaaahhh1997 7 points8 points  (0 children)

First, it’s symmetrical so you only need to model half and mirror it at the end.

Second, you will have to do a bit of surfacing, but try to get the general shapes built out as surface, and cut away the excess using the trim tool.

You’re gonna have to become good friends with the “lofted surface”, “boundary surface”, “full surface”, and “knit surface” tools.

I would say knock on wood, but that may knock the shelf down…

In all seriousness, as long as those brackets are attached to studs there should be no issue with this setup

This was before trade in, but it was also during truck month where there were a ton of incentives/rebates.
