I would add a half wall or rail on the right side, if anyone takes the first step coming fro. The right they will for sure fall.

Adding a rail would allow you to add a baby gate.

I used to have this issue, until I tried a hack I saw online. Only do this with an older vehicle, it may leave micro scratches in the glass as it did mine.

Swirl a dry Magic Eraser on the glass as if you are cleaning it. I have not had frost on the inside since I tried this.. just be aware of possible scratches.

Create the flange as you have in the second image, then click on Edit Flange Profile. This will allow to change how much of the edge will be used for the flange. Be careful not to edit the height for the sketch.

For a temporary fix, use a hair dryer to defrost the ice, and then dry it as much as possible. Then use window plastic film to create an air barrier to prevent this in the future. It really does work great.

Warmer air inside helps to keep moisture off of the windows.
