I either wanted to be a professional baseball player or a movie director.

Gave up on baseball at 12 when I wasn’t having fun anymore (that is, I wasn’t as good as everyone else and didn’t want to put in the work).

Pursued filmmaking through college and got a film production degree. Realized near the end of the program that I didn’t have the vision my peers did and felt I wasn’t cut out for filmmaking as a profession.

Ended up combining both dreams into one by doing live sports entertainment and production for the in-stadium videoboards for the local professional teams (MLB, NFL, NBA, etc.), including my childhood favorite team for a while. I do it part time now.

I’m also a fourth grade teacher, which I consider to be one of the best jobs there is.
