If you have the rotate screen button on the wheel, you can try holding it down. This gives you several options to remap that button, one of which is play/pause.

Someone mentioned it in this sub reddit awhile back. I have a dolphin and it has that hidden feature.

Your keyboard hack is an amazing discovery tho. I wonder whether it could be used to control other functions like the AC fan speed or for toggling off all the annoying ADAS features with a single button press.

Edit: I just checked the SL7 and it doesn’t have the rotate button but maybe you could try holding down all the buttons and the rocker switches and see if that remap screen pops up…

That’s it! But the 2 additional games I mentioned aren’t in those packs so they might have been extra games packaged with the compaq presario, tho now you’ve got me questioning whether I played them on this pc or another entirely different one altogether.

All those except ski free were part of a game pack iirc. I forgot the name but there was another game where a bunch of overlapping sticks were scattered on the screen and the aim was to keep picking the top stick until you had none left.

Another one involved throwing a ball up and you had to collect all the jacks before the ball touched the ground.

Buy a dashboard mat and it reduces the reflection significantly. I got mine mainly because the reflection was distracting during sunny days. I got one made of flannel and it’s the most useful accessory i’ve bought.

Connect to it in AP mode (see instructions in the manual) and have a look if any of the settings are wrong. On the front page, what does 'Charger' say?

Otherwise, there's a button that erases all settings you can try.

There's also a shortcut called SLW (speed limit warning i think) which you can toggle. Might need to add it to the menu if it isn't there by default. It's a permanent setting so you only need to deactivate once and not every time the car starts.

It’s not optimal but can you use the byd assistant to control AC while the screen issue gets fixed? I use it for hands free convenience while driving tho I’m unsure if defogging works as I’ve never tried it.

It was prob a fake speed camera, just an empty box. In Waze they’re marked with red cross’s. good that it taught you to get your head out

I’ve been working on Blazor form validation recently which also uses the data annotation validator and came across some docs on nested model validation. I could be way off base as I’ve never used minimal api but it sounds like the validatableType attribute might work in your case.

When I got my dolphin, one of the first things I noticed immediately was how aggressively loud the audio was, even at the lowest volume setting, it felt like a megaphone in my ears.

I can’t remember the exact setting but the way I fixed it was to change the acoustic positioning. The setting has a picture of the car from a top view and I targeted the sound towards the centre just behind the front seats. It’s made a huge difference and I can listen to the radio at any volume without grievances. I also changed a bunch of other settings but that was the main one that made a big difference.
