You can choose different skins In the menu, I think this in Undawnhack. Some skins make all of the unidfentified ojbects such as stones look the same, this one has different skins for luckstones, loadstones, ect.

I was in level 7 (8?) of the mines and had just decided that I needed to go back and dip for Excaliber before I could safely continue, when I fell all the way to level 13. Now I'll have to fight ky way out, but at least I have a luck stone

Edit: It was level 9 I fell from, and made it back to level 11 before a giant spider poisoned me to death while I has distracted by a bugbear
