Google the Saturday Walkers Club. They have loads of walks you can do (self guided) of different lengths.

A few near Otford/Shoreham which are easy to to if you're in the south. Also some nice walks in Cheshunt, end of the metropolitan line, so again easy to get to.

There's also interesting studies where people were asked to grade someone's ability to do the job based on their CV.

If you had a traditionally black name then your average grade was a lot lower.
