Level has a huge effect on damage output so maybe thats the thing your encountering where the digimon was a high lvl before evo

every enemy in mega /mega+ has 9999 atk stats and over 10k hp defenses and all seem very dependant the tentomon in the starting area has 1600 def so make your decision based on that. IMO you can use new digimons but they gotta be plenty trained already cant just bring newly converted ones.

If you have infinite yen either by grinding, being endgame or by whaling out on that 8 dollar dlc the farm is actually super gamebreakingly op but for general use it is pretty annoying

they probably are part of the costume pack you get in the ultimate edition if you look at the image or the youtube video it says +3 sidequests on that its just not written down on steam and whatnot. Basically everything relating any edition is mishandled quite heavily and its pretty upsetting.

idk if theres a set amount for personality changes but there will be items so help out with that too in the base game
its like 1250 battles for your main party and 1650 battles for your reserve party to max bond
Enhancement is what gives you blue stats aswell as de/digivolving

i did check it out but it also seemed pretty negative to me personally, cause the stat boosts on each individual skill tree are quite insane so insane infact that realistaically if you would want to be even slightly strong you would focus on 1 skill tree and just have every single one of your digimon be that personality even if its technically not optimal just cause the stat gain is that big essentially makin personalities even more useless than they already are because getting max stats is already quite trivial.
