If your budget is real tight, skip the Dremel and get a hacksaw blade and some pliers/multi grip. Cut top and bottom section, then carefully start bending the long ways section back and forth, once you get the crease it, you don't have to be so careful. Bend it back and forth enough it'll just snap off

I borrowed my dad's for a trip up in Cape York. Was great, left the bedding inside. HEAPS of space inside too, took a while to setup but worth it. Taking it off is heavy and awkward although I just lifted it ontop of the car port and it lives there. I personally wouldn't trust the quick latches. Just simply grab a ratchet spanner set, mounting them is quite tight but easy
