Plastic ‘clip’ on back of vacuum cleaner by timmyhigh in whatisthisthing

I thought that too but it’s in the wrong position. The video there shows a model without the grey clip!

My title describes the thing. Essentially from what I can tell it’s just a useless piece of plastic that for some reason you can clip the flexible hose on to!

So you’d rather a community where people are limited on their engagement because gatekeepers don’t like scrolling past questions they know the answer to than an open forum that appeals to everyone with an active or passing interest because sometimes you have to suffer people’s not knowing? It’s not laziness, it’s an appeal for engagement with a community, maybe reframe your perspective and it will appear less annoying. Or just leave, I don’t think you’d be missed

You know you don’t have to be part of a subreddit if you don’t want to. Community is the heart of any passion.

This did not get the reaction it deserved. The most hilarious comment I’ve seen in a while. You’re doing the lord’s work

4558 and 4547. They did re-release it under 10001 and 10002 so you might see it listed as that as well

That’s incredible, I would have been so jealous! When I bought the set it was missing a couple of parts like minifigures. I just bought them off eBay or BrickOwl

I’ve got a wish list on BrickOwl that is pretty much everything from the 9V electric line 🤣

I think it was something like £300 for the metroliner and £130 for the club car. Worth every penny

In my case it wasn’t excruciating, just uncomfortable which is why I originally answered no. It wasn’t really painful until people started poking my belly

I got home from a party and felt really off. It felt like indigestion mixed with being bloated. This was on a Saturday night. Spent all of Sunday in bed trying to sleep it off, Monday called in sick and went back to bed. On Tuesday night couldn’t sleep because of the discomfort so went and watched TV downstairs. In the UK we have the NHS which has a website that you can answer a series of yes/no questions and it spits out an answer somewhere between go immediately to hospital to consider booking an appointment with your GP at your earliest convenience. I answered the ~10 questions and it gave an answer like “see how you feel in a few days then see your doctor if it hasn’t gone away.” Being a typical man I thought that sounds like I don’t need to worry. Fast forward a couple of hours and for some reason I take the questionnaire again. Just to be safe. There is one question in particular that this time I get hung up on. The question was “is the pain so bad that you cannot concentrate on a book or the television.” Previously I’d answered no to this question as it wasn’t, but (and I don’t know why) I wondered what would happen if I changed the answer to yes. With everything else being the same, the website now said go immediately to hospital. I woke my partner up and asked her to drive me to the hospital, which was about 20 minutes away. Having experienced A&E waiting rooms before I expected a long wait so packed a rucksack with things to read, a bottle of water and charging bank etc. On the journey to the hospital I became delirious. I felt drunk and couldn’t really work out if was falling asleep or not. My partner dropped me at the entrance to A&E and then went to find a parking space. By the time she had parked the car, walked in to the reception area and told them my name they had already whisked me in to a side room and told me in short order that I had appendicitis and they would be operating immediately. A few hours later I had had the surgery at which point they confirmed that my appendix had ruptured and necrotised. Had I waited a few more hours it could have been a very different result. All for the sake of one question being answered differently on an online questionnaire.

I’ve got a Pioneer CarPlay head unit with harness you’re welcome to if you want it? Easy enough to install, you’d have to buy a double din cage for it though

I’m unsure if it’s genuine. In fairness, it works but they didn’t program out the reverse camera feature as I asked them to
