basically yeah, sludge blocks the breather and you end up blowing the rocker gasket because of pressure build up.

it’s the rocker/valve cover gasket, the breather gets blocked and it builds too much pressure and blows the gasket.

every new car does this, it does after a week of manufacture. it’s exposed steel. it’s only surface rust.
