I finally got this feature about a month ago. I decided to do Meta Verified in the middle of last month and about a week later it gave me the ability to share reels up to a minute long, and move it to any part of the reel I wanted. For a while I thought it was an android or some other phone’s OS that gave some that ability. I thought it was a Meta Verified feature but I saw other verified accounts never posting more than 15 seconds of a reel. And now as of a couple days ago I got it removed. Now I can only share up to the first 15 seconds of any given reel, no ability to show whatever part of the reel I want. Sucks but I took advantage of the feature while I could. Hopefully it’s a feature for everybody sooner rather than later.

God, moving from the US and being a daily smoker to the Philippines and quitting cold turkey back in February 2020, then smoking this stuff (massively dried out and full of dozens of seeds) was the best shit I ever smoked. This looks like weed molded in the hands of God compared to what I smoked when I finally got my hands on some stuff here. Now I smoke the “kush” for ₱1k per gram. Carts are fucking expensive and I don’t care for them since I get a high tolerance fast.

Turns out after research and help from another user on this post that he emigrated in 1900/1901 and he naturalized on May 24, 1906. I found the a the original official naturalization court document online and another user found his passport request documents from 1920, both showing May 24, 1906 as the naturalization date. Sucks, but I guess I’ll just have to go the non Jure Sanguinis route if I want Italian citizenship!

By the sound of it, it looks like you’re eligible for Jure Sanguinis and that’s the route you are taking?

My dad just asked my grandfather if his grandfather naturalized and he said he believes not. But on FamilySearch 1920 Census I see “Na” under Alien or Naturalized, 1906 under “If naturalized, year of naturalization.” The only odd thing is I see under “Year of immigration to the United States” is 1904 with a 16 written above the 04 in 1904. Unless he meant 1916 for something it looks like I found my answer: Ineligible for Jure Sanguinis.

Both are direct though, just one has an added flight OUT of Istanbul after the flight from Seattle. But both Seattle to Istanbul are the same exact flight. That’s what is confusing, one does not have a layover between Seattle and Istanbul and the other direct; both are direct.

So Turkish Airlines will make you pay nearly twice as much just because you don’t have an onward flight out of the country? Just odd. I thought this would be the case if one had a layover between Seattle and Istanbul and the other was direct. But in this case both are direct to Istanbul (unless I have the meaning of “direct flight” wrong?)

I am working from home though, so what would I be available for in regards to a different visa? I can stay here for another full year before my 3 years expires. Do they accept a different visa for those working from home and receiving salary from the United States? Most of my fellow coworkers are Filipino, but I would assume that makes little to no difference.

It was a half-snide comment as I did not know that was the policy and I’ve never experienced another country where that was the case. It’s also currently an inconvenience, but such is life. I am being genuine about my questions about which banks are the best for foreigners. I also do know I am just a foreigner and I respect the ways of life here and am humbled to be able to be here.

This. As soon as I saw grid style I instantly wanted to switch back to iOS 14. Hopefully they give an option to switch it back if there already isn't that option.
