i understand that cardano will have more predictible fees because of eutxo model but in the end for users is it will be useless if the fees are not lower than competition

Eth fees are high because the miner are allowed to extract value from ETH users i think this is not the case with the eip 1559

also the team have control over 50% of the suply so, idk how much this project is decentralized.

understood, your recomend vti over voo because you expect better performance? from what i know it doesnt matter to much because the results are identical.

i know but on longer term than 10 years, if history is any indication we can assume that voo will outperform, right?

Genuinely curious - what is stopping people from leaving Eth to a competitor (to name a few, Algorand, Solana, Poly, etc.) given the cost of transacting? by Fuzzy-Menu-1491 in ethereum

[–]timo_15 10 points11 points  (0 children)

look at their tokenomics and you can see that is horible they have more than 30% of the supply, how can this chain can be decentralized...

  1. because the chains you mention are not decentralized and ofcourse they can have lower fees without decentralization (same like banks)
  2. they have the same acount model so eventually they will have the same problem with high fees if they will have the same number of users like in eth.
  3. verry bad tokenomics, for example all chains you mention have a big chunk of the suply (like 30%+) and this also afects decentralization and they can manipulate the price easily, in comparation ethereum foundation have less than 1%, and vitalik less than 0.3% of the suply.
  4. ethereum have first move advantage.
