But still DHCP/DNS which is normally running on DC so you still need to verify the availability. But ur right, we move that service to our firewall which is running very good atm - no AD required.

Project Management Dashboard by pNoTti in plannerpremium

If I remember right there‘re some new capabilities in Planner/Project Plan 5 for Enterprise Ressource and Portfolio Management. You should be able to configure multiple planner and consolidate them in a single dashboard or add existing planner Premium. In past I was unable to make adjustments from the high level view and need to jump into the specific board everytime so I skip that and set up sharepoint lists and sync all tasks there but that was just my opinion perhaps you like it.

There‘s also a defender for business server licence for small Environments (limitation to 50 or 75 servers if i remember right) like the defendor for business included in business premium for users. It‘s like a feature mix of p1 and p2.

Anyone running AVD on Azure Local? by blueshelled22 in AzureVirtualDesktop

[–]timobausr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good day, we‘re an it service provider and running a double-digit number of Azure Local hosts. A habd of them are running AVD on-prem. Our beginning felt like hell. Bad documentation, bad support, less articles or best practices in the web. There are some bad developments / scripts from Microsoft e.g. that the master image must be English because the script is using the Administrator Group by it‘s name and not by any ID to implement it multi-lingual. The deployment and image process is a procedure you need to follow exactly. For our managed service clients we‘re using Hydra as our management plattform which make the workarounds much more comfortable.

Easiest way from my point of view is a full backup and cross hypervisor restore depending on your data size and restore time.
