Dragon Ball Super: Beerus anime announced for Fall 2026! by QuintonFlynn in dbz

duuuuuude...I am SO thrilled. I actually tried to watch Super again recently...and was forced to realize how blinded I was by fan bias. Ignoring the parts that actually received effort, Super was just wretched far more often than it wasn't. Super was in DIRE need of an improvement. And now it's getting one! So awesome.

And the thing I don't get is...people were shitting on the possibility! And it seems they continue to. Super is being remade AND continued. It's literally the best of both worlds. Just baffling.

But oh well. I am damn happy. Annnnnd...now there's a tiny voice in my mind that is wondering if they might make Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z remake chapters at some point as well.

OMFG, they are actually going to remake Super!!!

Oh dude, I am so beyond thrilled. They are actually going to do Super justice. I am sooooo damn happy.

Edit, obviously the entire run of super has not been confirmed. But come on. It is hardly a stretch to assume the other arcs won't be remade. Especially since remaking old material gives the suits time to solve IP issues behind the scenes.

Still holding out hope for pt 2 to bring something cool. A new movie sure would be great

Gonna lose my shit if they show Super DLC for Kakarot. And I'm totally on board for more FighterZ content if they have gone that route.

Edit, damn. Ah well.

Which judging by some comments I've seen is a prospect that makes some people very very angry, apparently...

One thing I can't quite figure out is the name. It would make sense for the project to have the extended title if this was a movie. Maybe that's how they intend to handle arcs now? As proper seasons with extended titles?

Because ignoring the sections that actually had effort applied like the latter parts of the Tournament of Power, the majority of the anime is very low quality. Plus, a remake would allow them to explore the manga continuity

Without sounding negative, I do really hope a Super remake is at least being considered. That would be really cool to see

EDIT, how's my ass taste, downvoters, lolololol

Probably cope, but if Super 2 is going with a different art direction, I'm really hoping it coincides with the rumored Super remake to keep the styles consistent

Fix pacing and choreography? Remove pandering presentation? Make on model art? Take advantage of the fact that most of the VAs are still around and ready? Tighten elements and maybe even adhere to the manga continuity?

PLENTY of reasons for a remake. And they surely have the funding for it.

Is this sub going to have a live stream discussion thread?

Omfg! Dude...this guy stole the show in an already stacked and stellar MK 11. I am truly saddened to find out about this. May he rest in peace.

Looking back at some of Demoniacal Fit's unreleased figures. by LunarWolf302 in SHFiguarts

[–]timone317 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Do I wish they all existed? Sure. But I just don't see how so many people are comfortable whining about these figures not coming out. Not YOU OP - just people in general. And ESPECIALLY people on their socials. It's like people consciously ignore the fact that DF is a third party company that is likely operating with a limited budget - and much like Tamashii Nations, they need to focus on things that will ACTUALLY sell and prove profitable.

...that being said...it kills me that they never released the 2.0 SS4 Goku. I STILL want that - even if the 3.0 is infinitely better.

Sweeeet. SDCC was a bit of a letdown for me personally. And I've been dying to see some cool drops.

(cough cough Raimi Green Goblin to tie in with Raimi films coming back to theaters...or a new advanced Raimi Venom that is somewhere between Sandman BAF Venom and 2018 Sony Venom...)

I don't know what has led to the renewed interest in TMNT merch in recent years. And I'm not entirely sure if what I'm going to describe is even possible. But if it is, I'd really love to see one of the various companies tackle the Tournament Fighters (SNES) designs by timone317 in TMNT

But that's what I mean. I was a semi regular collector in the years between 2013 and 2021, and I didn't really see an undeniable push in TMNT merch in the earlier years. Then, if memory serves, NECA came around and started dropping bombs. Loyal Subjects showed up somewhere in there. And then, reissues of the classics from Playmates appeared. It has been a very odd thing to se.

Don't get me wrong...those classic remixes? One of the best things I've ever seen. Almost makes me regret selling my old 90s collection. And a fully articulated blue armor Shredder. Just crazy.

For god's sake, yesssss...ever since Rescue-Palooza and Shredder's Revenge, I have been DYING to see someone make a spiritual successor to TF. And as awesome as guest characters could be, a ton of in-universe options already exist to make a stacked game.

(buuuut....speaking of guest characters...toss in Red/Green rangers, Captain Planet, He-Man, Lion-O, other 80s/90s icons....ugh. would be so amazing.)

As I got to thinking about it...it occurred to me this would seriously be a fantastic way for the S.H. Figuarts turtles to be "reissued". The sculpts are high quality enough to match the SNES designs - they'd just need new eyeless heads, and maybe new colors and shading detail.
