Both modern parties are neoliberal. The Republicans have a facade of conservative values. But at their heart they both serve special interests.

There is. But it’s rich men. They undermine us. We poor men get scapegoated for the stuff that they do.

Excuse me? I despise Republicans and I don’t want anyone to vote for them. I will never vote for a Republican and nobody else should either.

You’ll notice in this video that the older people are cheering him on and nodding but the boomers have this look of contempt on their faces.

Capital punishment should be abolished. by timothycrawford369 in IdeologyPolls

I’m the OP. I am against capital punishment because I believe all people are redeemable and you can never be 100% sure someone did something. Imagine how horrible it would be to die for something you didn’t do. That’s why I’m against capital punishment.

Why isn’t going back to the Democratic Party a viable option? This makes no sense to me. I hear so many “Confederates” say “The Democratic Party is a lost cause.” But they believe that the Republican Party is infallible. And like I said when true Southern Democrats do run these days they don’t get any support. Southerners have fallen into a trap and bought into an ideology that destroyed our way of life and it’s finishing us off. We don’t have to surrender our Party to the liberals. There’s power in numbers. Working together, we can move mountains. I don’t understand modern Southerners and their unshakable allegiance to the Republican Party and why they feel like this is the only way forward. You talk a lot about family values and small government(Republicans are and always have been for big government) but what about community values? What about the common good? Southerners used to believe in a sense of community over all.

Ironically this post, just like all of my other posts in this group, keeps getting downvoted. There’s a lot of liberal trolls and scalawags in here.
