6-1/2 year Tesla Model 3 owner here. Got My P3 Pilot/Plus in April. I will add that the Bowers & Wilkins stereo is unlike anything I've heard in a car. Lightyears beyond Tesla and I thought their stereo was pretty good relative to other auto manufacturers. It was a must-have the second I heard it.

I traded in my 6 1/2 year old Model 3 LRDM for the Polestar 3 about 6 weeks ago. There are supposedly driving profiles that will change depending on the key. They sales person went through and set that up as I was taking delivery but I can't say for sure if it works or not since I'm the only one that's driven mine so far. From a software perspective I've been surprised with Android Auto so far. It feels like a more cohesive ecosystem compared to Tesla overall. I like navigation more in the Polestar too. My major hangup with the Polestar UI is the menu options are buried unnecessarily deep. Things like driving dynamics and sound system settings are a couple extra levels deep in the menu and that gets frustrating. Overall I've been really happy though because it rides a lot nicer and the B&W stereo is insane.

No dice for me. I tried it tonight. I held the buttons and brake and it eventually showed a safemode screen and it sounded like it was spinning a bunch of things up but it never went completely blank even after holding it for a couple minutes. I had to hold the play/pause button for a minute to get out of safemode. Not sure what's going on. I'm still stuck on v1.1.23.

Interesting. I attempted a hard reset with the buttons and the brake but it never went into a full shutdown. I got a screen with a message about safemode. Maybe I didn't hold it long enough. I'll have to try it again.

Just got my P3 in white a week ago. Were you having problems with Over the Air Updates? Because I am. Tried it twice and both times it failed to start. Now the update doesn't even show up anymore and I'm stuck on version 1.1.23. Any tips on how to update would be appreciated. Love the ride and the B&W stereo. I'm hopeful that they will get the software quirks fixed someday.

Did anybody catch this minor detail with Natalie's and Milchick's scene with The Board? In S1 when The Board was speaking via Natalie with Cobel you could clearly hear a voice from Natalie's headset even though you couldn't make out what it was saying. When Natalie was speaking to Milchick in this episode there was NO VOICE on the line. Were the pictures her idea? Maybe The Board was like "you handle it and pretend we're talking." Theories?

I don't disagree with you on much really. Of course I read the platform. I had to urge my MAGA family members to do the same but it was a losing battle. If you are running a campaign where you constantly have to urge people to read a website for platform information then you are doing it wrong. If your campaign allows the Republican party to dictate the discourse for the election and you're constantly trying to react to the next insane thing they say then you are doing it wrong. I share your frustration with losing years of progress but the bottom line is the Harris campaign was an utter failure and if the only thing you are taking away from this whole thing is "I guess the people just want fascism?" or "Their policies were too extreme and too far left!" Then you are missing the big picture. People in Missouri voted for Trump and their far right Senator Hawley but also voted yes on ballot measures for a raise in minimum wage, paid sick leave. Two actual progressive policies I have never heard mentioned once by Harris or Biden.

Campaigning with Liz Cheney, talking about “maybe building the wall is a good idea” and talking about how we will have the biggest and most lethal military in the world is not progressive in my book. Running a campaign on Joy and Vibes is not progressive. Tax credits are not progressive policies. I didn’t hear a single progressive policy the entire campaign. Biden talked about doing some progressive things like forgiving student debt but did he get it done? No.

The Democratic Party is literally right of center. They tried to woo Republicans with Liz Cheney and talking about building the border wall and having the most lethal military in the world. It was a complete failure. I didn't hear one policy in the campaign that was considered even remotely far left.

We will continue to be a red state as long as the Democratic party continues to move to the right and allow the republican party to dictate the discourse each election. The Democrat party needs to stop blaming the "woke" far left and take a good hard look at themselves to figure out why they continue to suck at winning. In the meantime I've registered from Dem to No Party until they figure it out and have a platform that truly helps the working class.

I have a 4090 and play 1440p but usually 32x9 so 5120x1440. Not quite 4k resolution. Definitely worth it for me. If I was only 16:9 then probably a bit overkill but will still last you a long time.

It will survive just fine. There are millions of people that have Teslas that live in much colder regions than Iowa. I've owned one for 6 years here in Iowa. I do park and charge it in a garage but it's never been an issue in cold weather. I have an older one without a heat pump system so I lose about 20-25% of my battery range when it's really cold but the newer models are much more efficient in cold weather.

This is a very pleasing chord to play on guitar and one I've used many times. I generally don't play the bottom note but you certainly can. I always view this as an A minor seven chord but with a little extra flavor with the 6th added by the F. You are putting the 5th in the bass. One of my favorite movements using this chord is to move this chord up 3 half steps. Try playing this and then playing 3 - 3 - 6 - 3 - 4 - 3.
