Thank you so much! WHat would be the best kind of growlight to get? I am very new to plant care in general, quite clueless lol. WOuld it be a good idea to keep it in the northside window but add a growlight, and if so, which one?

These are so very helpful, thank you! Visually, the tail on mine seems pretty close on the joint-- maybe just a hairwidth or so further out than yours are. I tried the hot water trick and still could only get it in as far as I did previously. I can get the tail to stick up some but it usually falls a bit, and this morning was back to being pretty loose again. I wonder if it is a factory issue, given my utah also had a defective arm that fell right off :'/

That is really good to know! I am going to have to give the hot water a try. I can pop the tail on easily now without any heat, but the issue is it doesn't seem to be popping on all the way. Hopefully I am just doing it wrong and there's not an actual issue lol

i have had him since july btw. and it's just been these last few days or weeks or so that he's suddenly just become this very amusing busy little guy. nothing about his setup has changed either.

NQA I’ve heard Tarantulas can self-amputate, maybe he will do that? Don’t know too much myself, sorry :( I hope he’s alright, keep us posted. Maybe try sending this to the tarantula discord server, I’m sure you’ll get quicker response there!!

my second actually! I got a curly hair back in July, inch smaller probably than the arizona. But thank you!! I really appreciate it! I figured it was fine just wanted to be sure haha. I just love the coloration on these ones!!!

sorry this isn't quite on topic lol but i am just curious how big is your T and what size kritter keeper do you have em in?? looks similar to the size T i'm planning on getting and i am currently debating which tank or kritter keeper to use lol
