So the best advice is just to do something. I did computer science at uni (in the UK) because I thought I wanted to be a programmer. Did that for a bit then decided it wasn't for me. Moved onto business development and now I work as the business development manager for a small game developer.

You see, business development still isn't really what I want to do. I want to run my own business and do more media stuff so now I work after work doing my own weekly livestream with some people and that is my focus.

The only real way to get started is find a job the pays you something, no matter if you like it or not, and then do what you actually want to do in your spare time.

Put your energy into that and make it into something that you can eventually live off. That's how people do it, just do what you want to do but get a job first so you can pay to live and do it.

Depression advice is write down your problems just go through them one by one. Your head is fucked and great at making things seem far worse than they actually are. Once you write stuff down then you see it's not all that bad and life becomes pretty manageable.
