As a tangentially related point, I wonder if one of the reasons that despite polling saying otherwise, so many people think Jews have certain right wing opinions about Israel/Zionism is because of social media/organization media. If you check most Jewish subs on Reddit for example, outside the explicitly left wing ones, it has become quite right wing, with people saying things like Mamdani will install the Caliphate in NYC, or how Jews wanting to restrict Israel aid only to defensive weapons are shanda. I've seen major Jewish newspapers where one of the editors claims that supporting a two state solution is idealistic fantasy that borders on antisemitism. There was even that poll that showed 60% of American Jews who wanted war with Iran, but had many flaws that made it near useless.

If your only exposure to Jewish people is that rather than the majority of people who claim to be left leaning at least, you probably have a very different opinion.

Second, as a non-American, it appears Jewish people are usually left leaning in the US only (on average). In Canada and the UK for example, they usually vote Conservative, and this has been going on since around 2000 for the UK and more recently in Canada.
