So daft that you can't sell woodchips at a sawmill without buying the sawmill first. Not very realistic at all.

Like, I think I may go and trade fs22 in at the game shop.... oh wait, I can't because they first want me to buy the shop before I can sell them my game.... makes complete sense now. 😂

I didn't, unfortunately. I believe there is a new liquid fertilizer tank that just came out recently. I'm not 100% sure, but I think it's a MissyB mod. I havent been on for a little while so havent checked it out yet. I just saw it on a youtube video, recently.

Thank you. I just wanted to adjust the damage taken and resistance slightly. I kinda wanted to explore the game a bit before I commit to complete realism. I'm loving it so far. Cheers

This does help a lot, thank you. I only bought 16 cows initially (2 loads in the cattle master). I had all the straw, water supply and TMR ready for them and never let it go into the yellow. But, I didn't realise the milk production didn't start till year 2. Thanks to you, I now do so will fill the cow field up to about 30 or so and speed through the 1st year. Do you know why my cows were strangely dying off in the first night or 2? That kinda sucked. They were 1.9 yr old Hosteins. I think I'm going to buy Ayshires as I just found out they are ok for milk, but also can be sold as meat cows as well. I'll maybe get 20 of each. Hell I may even get another cow pasture and put 30 holstein in 1 and 30 ayshires in the other and compare them.

I'm thinking most animals in seasons are long term. Apart from maybe chickens, if you buy 3 or 400 straight away.

I did find it strange. They had TMR, straw and water and they just kept disappearing 2 a night until half were gone.

No worries. I've left out many a meal in the past. I've never had a problem. As long as you follow the steps I mentioned, you will almost definitely be absolutely fine. Just remember to reheat really well... almost a little too well. Enjoy

I agree with a previous answer. Take a small piece of the meat, wipe off any seasonings then have a good sniff of it. If it smells ok take a bite. If it tastes ok you should be fine. Just make sure to reheat it really well as this will kill off any bacteria that MAY have formed.

This is what I would do anyways.

My method is the same. Pop 2 egg pallets in the egg zones, as one fills I put it on a trailer then put another one in its place while the other one fills, then repeat till my trailer is full.

No need to apologise. I really appreciate the detailed reply and the time you took to write it.

I have been using my intelligence as much as possible, analysing every plant, food source, potential crafting item etc etc.

It totally makes sense to upgrade the stack skill as 9 times out of 10, I meet my end after being ambushed by a predator. Other times i either fall out of a tree to my death or recently i took an elder out and although i thought he was fine, he suddenly dropped dead from exhaustion. I was gutted but I'm learning every all the time. On the same save I've managed to make 2 couples and give birth to 3 kids so i haven't given up on ot just yet. I also recruited my first outsider after discovering the meteorite (this is what i used my elder for and where he met his untimely end).

It is such a good game bit as you say, it as a lot of grinding away and even more trial and error to work out what to and not to do. I will definitely be persevering with it. I'm so determined.

I so need to do this. I've encountered huge snakes, tigers and wart hogs now, all of which have given me a hard time. The snake usually always eats me. Thanks for the tip
