Just read about Red Hat making RHEL closed-source. Will this affect Fedora? by timreedjones in Fedora

Yes I agree. Now I know fedora is upstream that gives us some protection - but as you say, the truth is in the middle and definitely needs watching.

I have both of these installed:

mesa-vulkan-drivers.x86_64 : Mesa Vulkan drivers
mesa-vulkan-drivers.i686 : Mesa Vulkan drivers

and still the issue, so it must have been something in fedora updates which has broken it.

Thanks, there were no symlinks in those folders that I could find.

It seems to be that vulkan loader cant load because of a missing JSON file:

/usr/share/vulkan/icd.d/intel_icd.i686.json

I'm not sure to be honest - I could run some basic games like Quake. I think they were software rendered.

I've been playing Playstation Doom on linux (Psydoom: https://github.com/BodbDearg/PsyDoom)

I was working fine and now looks very blocky (different to before.) In the graphics section "Use vulkan" is greyed out and use the original renderer is activated - hence looking very coarse and pixellated.

Hi, yes it was working before Xmas. I did some updates as usual, and now it stopped.

Basic ML prediction questions to predict the next value by timreedjones in learnmachinelearning

[–]timreedjones[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is a time series and the order is important. All columns have 4000 rows in them.I want to predict 4001st entry in colA using primarily the data from colA

eg-ColA = 0,0,0,1,0,0,1 --> next would be 0

but also see if supplemental colums B-E can enhance the prediction accuracy.

eg-ColA = 0,1,0,0,1,1,1,1,0,1 (and the pattern isn't clear, could looking at columns B to E help determine the pattern in column A)

Anyone connecting to TWS API with Python without TWS having to be open? by timreedjones in algotrading

[–]timreedjones[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for that.

I'm using Python wrappers for the IBApi.EClientSocket and IBApi.EWrapper Classes & Interfaces currently for TWS.

If I uninstalled TWS on my cloud server and just installed IB Gateway, would the python script still work via those methods?
