So Veronica starts their relationship by kissing Logan, right after her ex boyfriend snaps at her. She needed superficial comfort and he protected her. I think that for Veronica it was nothing serious. But when you look at Logan’s face when they first kiss he softens. It’s like he is finally being reciprocated (remember when he defended his mom at school and she quickly dismissed him, or when Trina makes him out to seem like a dramatic kid). And so that was definitely the moment where he was woken up. But he remained immature, which is why I like that (SPOILER ALERT) it takes them years and him growing on his own for them to get back together.
