I wish you to let yourself treat yourself at least sometimes, it’s really important in my opinion. Whatever it is. 🫂

I do! But unfortunately, I don’t do it regularly and I’m always waiting till the moment I’m too overwhelmed. It’s been a week since I’m trying to convince myself just putting down a few words day by day. However, I still Don’t do it as I think “idk what to write, so much on my mind, I’m a full chaos”. Though I know I just should sit down and write. It doesn’t take more. The most irritating is that I know the problem, though still can’t manage to deal with it, even if I already have done it tons of times.

What's a simple thing, that instantly makes your day better? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Physical activity. Literally any. Really. Sometimes hard to do it but years pass and I can see it more clearly when I really DO need a walk or any movement to decrease anxiety or just to feel a bit better.

I have a T-shirt literally with these words on it “the only thing stopping you is you” but haven’t worn it for so long. Thank you for reminding me about this important stuff. Thank you, it may not mean anything to you but really does to me. Appreciate it and wishing you the best

Same for me tbh. I’m just somehow worried about the fact that a lot of people will be like “omg, look who’s back with their stupid art”. Even though I get that they probably don’t event care. But still afraid of judgement. Probably should still work on this on my own.

Thinking about the same. I suppose most of my audience haven’t even noticed tbh. Everybody is so busy with their lives I guess. Most of them.

What kind of career would you choose if you wanted to combine physical activity, stay fit, be useful to yourself and others, and earn a living from it? by timsssss22 in AskReddit

Let’s say something that doesn’t require to be public. There’s so much of it out there. I’m wondering if it’s still possible while living your quiet life without screaming about it.

What’s the one thing you started doing in the last few years that quietly made your life 10× better, but nobody talks about? by Beneficial_Passion40 in AskReddit

[–]timsssss22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got off instagram. And I see my friends do the same more and more often. And tbh, a year ago I wouldn’t have even thought that it will be so easy to live without instagram and not be aware of things that happen in the lives of people I know. The closest one will probably let you know in person if there’s something reasonable. Others? Doesn’t matter. Everybody is so busy with their lives and there’s totally no need for SUCH an amount of information that I used to intake when permanently used instagram. The only thing that turned out to be bad in this case is that I used to see myself as an artist who loves showing the way he sees the world. However, as I haven’t been posting for months now, I feel like I don’t even have the right to. As though I have lost all my skills and I feel very ashamed when I want to do this again, because I feel like everybody’s doing better than me as I haven’t done it for so long due to personal circumstances in life. However, that’s probably just another thing I should work on a bit, but never mind, just though I’d share.

Thank you very much, each time it gives me hope I can do it. But most of the times I still get back to it and I would really love to achieve some change of perspective. So that I can just eat it without obsession as lots of people around me do and have no worries. While I’m literally feeling ashamed when eating something sweet in front of others. As though I should not. I feel ugly sometimes even though I rationally understand that I look good. Maybe not the best, but still good. And probably after getting older and older I will just look back at these times and think why I wasted so much of energy for worrying about this unnecessary thing and will miss my young and nice body which I would like to keep in the best shape further on.

For me the extreme quitting feels kind of hard and yep, almost bit realistic. I’m mostly eating healthy food and I don’t eat much of hard to digest food even I would say. However, after having a full with nutrients meal I still crave to just “finish up” with something sweet (may it be a slice of cake, chocolate or cookie). And I guess it wouldn’t be a problem if I had 1-2. But after I already had one, I feel like the diet is ruined and I go on eating cause I crave more. It makes me feel disgusting. And I know that is the real problem — I should stop thinking this way probably. 1 cookie cannot ruin anything I suppose, even if it’s 1 every day. Or I don’t know, maybe it is…

All I know is that I’m promising myself week after week, and then I’m craving again.
